I entrusted this body shop to repair my car but honestly my experience with this body shop, ****, *******, and management has been terrible. First, they used a permanent marker and wrote on my hood and trunk and when they couldn't get the writing off my paint job, (hood/trunk), ****, the shop person in charge returned my car back to me with the damage that this body shop caused to my paint job. I asked him why is their "repair hood/trunk" writing on my good paint job. ****'s response was, "this is standard practice for our body shop, and we write on all vehicles that we get but most of the time, the writing comes off but not on most Toyotas and obviously not on yours". I asked him then how can you return my car vandalized like this? His response was, "let me run back in the shop and see if I can get this writing off". His attempt to remove the writing failed so I took possession of my Lexus and figured that I would go to a detail shop, and they can remove the marker writing. After going to 5 different detail shops and spending over $500 of my own money to try to remove the damage this body shop caused to my paint unfortunately none of the detail shops were able to remove the writing on my paint. So, I went back this Benners shop again and spoke with **** again and he advised, bring the car back to us we can see what we can do. First, he advised that they have to paint my hood/trunk in order to get this damage fixed but they decided not to repaint the damage they caused but instead buffed the h*** out of it causing my paint to look very faded so they caused further damage to my paint. Also, for a second time while my Lexus was in their care, THIS BODY SHOP BROKE MY AFTER MARKET BACK UP CAMERA. IT WAS PERFECTLY WORKING AND ON MY WINSHIELD WHEN I DROPPED OF MY CAR. Would you believe for a second time, they handed me the keys without even mentioning that they broke my back-up camera (which cannot be replaced as it is discontinued). I have spent over $800 on this aftermarket back-up camera with installation. Then I spoke with ***, the body shop manager and he took some pictures and advised that he would get back to me but never did. THIS IS THE SECOND TIME MY LEXUS WAS UNDER THIS BODY SHOP'S CARE WHEN THEY DAMAGED MY CAR. TERRIBLE BODY SHOP AND THEY LIE TO YOU LIKE ******* LIED TO ME. IN SUMMARY, rather than repaint my hood/trunk to correctly fix the damage they caused by writing on my good paint, they further damaged my paint and now my hood and trunk look very faded and to make matters worse, they broke my very expensive back-up camera. I should have known when I read another review advising that this body shop was terrible based on how what they also did with her tesla. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS BODY SHOP. I will also put a complaint with the BBB. Why would a good body shop use a permanent marker and write on people's paint job especially when painting a car now a days is EXTREMELY EXPENSIVE. Also, HOW DID THEY BREAK MY BACK-UP CAMERA? TERRIBLE JOB BENNER'S AUTO BODY, JUST TERRIBLE!!!Business response
