I had a similar experience as another person who filed a compliant, with this vendor, in that I did the red dye test and it failed for one of the filters. They quickly passed me off on the manufacturer and said I had to file a warranty claim. I did this and it was a lengthy process taking a very long time. The manufacturer asked for photos. I also had to mail back the filters. I finally got replacement filters from the manufacturer, primed them (with a water bottle as suggested), did the red dye test, and no water would pass thru the filters at all! I was completely fed up and said I wanted my money back. They told me I had to go back to the vender, Big ******, who I bought them from. Well, this vendor sent a copy of their fine print, which no one ever reads, that says filters can't be returned if they are wet. HUH? They are water filters and water is wet!! I was so angry, I threw them in the trash. After the fact, I looked on this website and decided to file a complaint. It's not right. The manufacturer flat out told me I had to go back to the vendor for a refund and the vendor said no. Like I said, I got fed up and threw them in the trash because I didn't think there was anything else I could do. Btw, this is the 2nd set of filters I have bought in a little over a year. The first set, I had no problems with. So, I am familiar with the process.Business response

I am rejecting this response because: as I said before, I know how to prime and did it with two sets previously. I want to return the filters. I thought I had thrown them out, but in fact I still have them.

Because priming won't work with my faucet, I used the water bottle method where you put a hole in the cap of the bottle, add water to the bottle with cap on, turn upside down, squeeze water into the top of the filter hole. It worked just fine with two water filter sets in the past. After the red dye test failed, now this. I think the quality of the filters is going down. I would like my money back with postage paid. Too much time (and headaches) wasted on this product. Thank you.

We have a ****** primer that does not require the use of a faucet. We are unable to take back used filters, but would be more than happy to send you a black ****** primer. This would solve your priming issue, without the use of a faucet.
