So angry. Numerous times this has happened and today happened again! Have a dermatologist I have seen for years. Called to tell them I need to be seen because I have a real problem and due to pain and itchiness cannot sleep as I need to scratch nonstop. Called Summit Health and explained problem and asked to be seen. Nope, they cannot see me for three months. Told them I cannot wait! They said the **** nurse would call me back. She did. I explained all the rashes, hives and spots all over my body. She told me they could not see me today as they are booked up. They cannot see me next Monday either. She is not sure when they can fit me in. I told her I am really struggling. She understood but said sorry, I cannot be seen as they are booked up. I offered to send her pics of the three different types of rashes I am struggling with, so they could at least see it and decide how to help me. Nope, they refuse to look at it. So basically, they are saying they do not care I am a patient and struggling. She told me to go to urgent care. I told her I already went and was put on ********** and other meds. I also told her I do not trust their urgent care as they know very little about a lot of things. I have seen tons of inaccurate diagnoses at urgent care. And since I went a couple of weeks ago and their meds have not helped, why go back? Basically they want me there to make money. They are only into making money and not helping people. That is what medicine is about? Why not keep an hour a day unbooked in advance, so patients with problems can be fit in quickly? Angry and upset with this group!!!!!!!Business Response

Office of Dr Swosti T. , Rheumatology. I've been a patient of Dr. T. for about 4 yrs and am being treated for multiple chronic mr
Medical conditions. I was last examined by her on 4/9/25 and at that time, handed her my forms for FMLA. At the conclusion of my exam, she handed FMLA forms to her office manager, Dawn, with whom I sat down to discuss the FLMA requirements. When I called to follow up
up a week later, I spoke to Dawn and another staff member. I was advised that they had not completed/submitted the FMLA forms. I was assured that it would be handled and that I'd get a copy in the mail. On 4/29 the FMLA administrator, Segdewick
Inc. informed me that the FMLA forms submitted by Dr. T. were incomplete and contained errors. Consequently, I'm not eligible for FMLA and am out sick from work; my job with ****** *********** is in jeopardy. I spoke to Dr t. office today and was passed to 3 different people. Third person was angry and disconnected my call. I'm a 73 yr old disabled woman working full-time; I urgently need help with this issue so that I don't lose my job. I am also a patient of Drs Oza, P e Spinal Surgery and Opthamalogy departments at Summit Health.
Thank you very much I hope you can helpInitial Complaint

Went to Dr W. in Levittown for a consultation on 3/20. Was told by front desk the only payment I would have to pay is a $20 co-pay since this was an in network doctor.
2 weeks later received a bill for ~$178 for that visit. I also saw him on 4/11.Initial Complaint

I emailed customer support to report a physician who neglected to treat my symptoms and did not take the necessary blood work in order to make a decision regarding my treatment. I've received no answer when I requested an update.
Summit Health is not providing customer support. They are simply not responding. How is this legal? They are accepting my payments, I'm a customer, I should be able to get answers.Initial Complaint

On January 9, I attempted contacting the dermatology practice where I've been treated by Dr. Alexandra H. since 2023. Multiple telephone calls that day and since have received no answer, and the practice answering machine has been unable to accept messages.
I have also messaged the clinic through its AthenaHealth portal--the messages are attached. The first received no answer but was simply closed by someone at the practice.
I was only informed today (Jan. 22) that the doctor has left the practice. At no point did I receive a practice departure letter informing me of the change, something which has been standard practice at every medical facility I've visited in the past.
After 13 days of attempted contact I have only received a curt apology for "inconvenience." I've rarely had the experience of being treated so negligently by the administrators of a medical office, and I don't believe any other patient should be put through this, given the gravity of the stakes involved in medical care.
The dermatology clinic in question is located at:

On 8/26/24, I went for a physical exam with Dr. C. of Summit Health (SH) which included getting annual blood work. SH asked me to sign a waiver for certain blood tests that may not be covered. I asked before signing if there was a problem with payment from ******** would the doctor do what was necessary to collect this on my behalf and I was assured by the office staff that they would.
I received a bill from SH for 4 blood tests which were medically necessary due to the fact that I have been experience vertigo and it was suggested by a Neurologist to have checked when I went for my physical.
Their billing dept. was very inexperienced as I have had these tests done before at Quest and never saw a bill. I was told by ******** that the initial billing sent it was incorrect. I was told we would have to appeal. I called and spoke with SH and explained what I was told. They said they know it was sent in wrong and they would resend.
Claim was denied. SH sent in a letter of Medical necessity in Sept. but not covering all tests. Claim denied. SH sent in another letter of medical necessity covering other tests and duplicate tests, very inexperienced. Claim denied. Now I am being billed, calling both ******** and Megan, office staff at Dr. C. office and am being lied to. Upon calling both today, 1/15/25, they are both referring to the Waiver I signed. Basically, ******** nor SH is interested in helping me for which I pay over$650 a month in premiums. They know that the Waiver will get them paid and have given up trying to get that money from ********. I will never use their lab again, as Quest has never billed me even if I have signed a Waiver. Very uncaring for a doctor's office. Very inexperienced in billing. I know many others that have complaints with SH billing and I have learned my lesson. I am going to an attorney and filing a complaint with NJ Consumer Affairs. Disgraceful! Don't let them get away it! Will send Waiver as soon as I getInitial Complaint

1. Summit Health is charging me a copayment for a doctor's office visit on November 14, 2024, with Dr. M. that I did not have.
2. Summit Health keeps trying to charge me copays for office visits that I have receipts to show I paid. Saying it's because there was a visit in the past that I did not pay but will not tell what date that visit occurred.
