We paid Mystical Entertainment a $975 deposit to reserve a DJ for our wedding scheduled in July of 2020. When the covid-19 pandemic hit, we were forced to postpone our reception to the following summer, July 2021. When planning for the second reception, we contacted Mystical Entertainment several times to check their availability for our new date. We were told twice by their administrative assistant that **** (the owner) would get back to us, but we never heard from him. During that time, we also contacted **** directly via phone, text message and email. **** did not respond to us until weeks later, after we were forced to book a new DJ for the new wedding date. Since **** and Mystical Entertainment were no longer able to honor our contract, he agreed to refund our deposit. He told us that he wasnt able to provide the money right away because his business had slowed due to the pandemic. We generously agreed to allow him more time to complete the payment. Now, we have been contacting **** and Mystical Entertainment for nearly a year and a half regarding the refund of our deposit. They have stopped answering our messages and will not respond to us. We would like our deposit back since **** and Mystical Entertainment did not uphold the contact originally agreed upon.
