I ate at the restaurant on 12/17/22 at around 5pm. Paid for the bill with my credit card and everyone at the table contributed for tip with cash . I card when through and we left. However, two days later, I saw an extra charge of $70 from the restaurant, the exact amount of tip we had given in cash. I called the restaurant to ask why they had charged me the fee and if it can be refunded. They did not give me any explanation, and refused to refund the money.Business response

We spoke to ******* about her complaint and told her that upon looking at her receipt that she did in fact leave a tip for $70 and totaled out the bill. She signed the bill will a credit card tip of $70, and that because of this we could not refund her money. The bill was for $338.05 she wrote in a $70 tip and added the total to 408.05 accompanied by her signature. There was no double charge as we explained to her. She herself left a credit card tip and signed the receipt. If you need a copy of this receipt, I am more than happy to send it to you. Thank you so much for your time.

I do not accept the business's response as a resolution to my complaint because: The tip was given cash to the waitress ( $70 cash). Despite getting the $70 cash , the company went and charged my credit card an extra $ 70. There is no way I would have double tipped.
