We had him come to replace a service pole he brought his girlfriend and charged 40 a hr for her she did nothing I called again and now he wants 300 dollars just to come and give an estimate he is just down the road from us RIPP OFF STAY AWAY

We do charge a consultation, estimate and quote fee of $300.00. This charge is listed on our website for everyone to see. We usually spend 2 hours with a customer and spend time on writing up the quote/estimate. This fee is also removed from the final payment to us if you go forward with our services.
As for "the girlfriend", she is a registered licensed 4th year apprentice with the State. Who is also a valued, insured employee, who has been working for Deyab Electric, LLC for the past 5 years. She just, this year, became a Certified Generac Warranty Technician and has been a Certified Briggs and Stratton Warranty Technician for over 2 years.
If you were unhappy with your experience with Deyab Electric, LLC, then why did you call again for a quote on your new project? One needs to wonder why you would call again if you were unhappy.
No unhappiness was mentioned years ago when the service was performed in the first place.

Well i would like to clarify one needs to know why i called back. This policy was not there when i called him the first time if it was i would not have called him. I never complained about his work or his girlfriend qualifications. I was introduce to her as his girlfriend not as a apprentice that is why i was surprised when he charged 40 hr for her.
The 300 for estimates was not on his web site when I hired him then.
I think it is Greed that has happened with a lot of contractors when they are too busy and do not need the work.
I just had another Electrician whom i contacted at the same time i contacted him come to my home it took him all but 10-15 minutes to give me a estimate and hired him.
i just want people to know that the estimates you should not have to pay for. He has a right to run his company the way he wants to.
Again no complaints about his work or his girlfriend qualifications. Just his policies. Do your home work and get more than one estimates
