Very happy with the work that was completed on driveway. I had “Uncle Wash” come out to do an estimate, did not throw anything unexpected at me. I told him exactly what I wanted and him and his crew came out in LESS THAN A WEEK and got the job done. I had about 600 square feet of work done, they ripped up 3 stumps and grass. They leveled the ground with great stone to help with water run off. both hand work and machine work. Very good people. -**** and his dog Koda (********** NH)

We recently had our driveway redone by Road One. Uncle W********* measured and gave us the quote; his nephew and crew did the work. They clearly listened to our concerns regarding run off toward our garage and house due to the landscape. We have had lots of rain this past couple weeks, including torrents of downpours. Although the drive looks flat, they obviously did excellent subtle grading that pulls the rain away from our garage and house and spills it into a garden and our lawn; it goes exactly where we wanted it to go. Excellent work! The team was efficient and fast in completing the work. I will recommend this company to my friends for sure. **** **

Unfortunately, the Uncle of the Owner who provided me with the quote supposedly didn't explain the job fully to his nephew which is a shame because the Uncle was extremely helpful, polite and knowledgeable. If you want just a driveway paved, then maybe they are the right company to call. But if you need any specialty area paved where handwork is involved, although noted on the quote, the Owner, Joe, will make some excuse up about not being able to use his machines to do the work (which when measured wasn't an accurate statement). Joe backed out of doing this job on the morning of and told me to call another company. Thankfully, I had 4 companies quote this project and while Road One Paving was the 2nd most expensive, the Uncle who I worked with to revise his initial quote due to fuel prices made me believe that this was the right company for the job. Too bad the nephew and Owner doesn't have the same professionalism that the Uncle has. To add injury to insult, I moved my day around so that I could be home while they did the paving, all for nothing.
