SNHMA contiually try to charge me for services during routine exams that are not covered under medicare or my supplimental insurance provider even though I have requested them not to talk to me about anything that would constitute an additional charge. There is no list or reference chart to go by that they provide , a patient has no idea what topics can be discussed without incurring charges . Cases in point a physical / wellness check and a screening appointment with my dermatologist for cancer screening. I explained before we started that I want to discuss nothing that would incur additional charges not be covered by insurance or medicare only things outlined in their guidlines for a wellness check or screening yet low and behold the charges appear.Initial Complaint

A wrong code used sending 1/20-3/20 therapy bills to Humana. Humana WILL pay for service but the bills need to be resubmitted with correct code. (I already paid the bills upon receipt of them last year because of discount if paid by certain date.) I called SNHMC several times trying to resolve this starting 3/12/21, 4/22/21, 6/16/21 and again today 7/1/21. Each time, I was told a different story. On 6/16/21 the lady confirmed that an "extension" is missing on the code given. I was told she would call me back, after sending an email. No call back. Today they said they'd forward me to the supervisor, to no avail. Could only leave a message. I called back to say that this needs to be resolved, that I need to go to BBB and/or the Attorney General. She said she'd tell her boss. Statement numbers: ******** and ******** are same bill - $1417.79 Statement: ******** and ******** are same bill - $1469.46 Statement********* - $730.92 Total: $ 3608.10 They owe me $2894.47Business response

Consumer Response /* (2000, 9, 2021/07/14) */ Hi, This issue has been resolved. The business has refunded my money, agreeing there were "mistakes". There were a few more phone calls to get to this point. And I believe they finally reneged as a result of my going to you (BBB). Thank you so much for your support.
