Had teeth pulled, dentures made and deep cleaning. Paid just shy of 8000$ up front and after insurance they owe me $2095.60 that after 5 calls and 3 times to the office, no credit refund while after every discussion they said 7 to 10 days for reimbursement but never received. Disgusting. Next call will be to my attorney.

Aspen Dental is a disgrace. I went there for a consultation for pain in my tooth. After the consultation, they said I needed a root canal. They told me that they cannot even schedule the appointment for treatment until I paid them the full fee up front. Keep in mind, I had dental insurance and the dentist and specialist were in the network. I was horrified, but in so much pain and did not now what else to do. I paid them over 2K in fees just to book. When all was done, not only did they charge my insurance company as well for the treatment, but they way overcharged according to the explanation of benefits. They refunded me about 565.00, but they owe me more according to my insurance company. I have also filed a complaint twice with the Dental Board in the state to no avail.

Aspen Dental refusse to email a full mouth digital xrays to my new dentist They have lied at times telling me to come into their office to pick up copies. 1 time just photo copied, 2 times emailed xrays as jpegs the new dentist he cannot determine his procedures for me without digital pictures, 1 time from United Health Care that they were told for me to go to Aspen Dental and pick up a disc I get there and they said they can't do it then but could email me with copies.....Lie. I went to Aspen Dental because I'm new to the area and either a Dentist I was interested in going to was not accepting new patients or the distance and direction I did not feel comfortable to drive. I have traveled several times back and forth to their office to the new dentist and much stress because I am in need of dental work. I don't know if this makes a difference but I am a low income senior with Medicare and Medicaid. And the xrays are paid in full through United Health Care. Please advise me. ******

I went in and requested a cleaning. At the time I didn't have insurance and they recommended a care credit card. I only got half of the procedure (bottom teeth cleaned) never got the full procedure. My credit limit was 1500 and they charged the full amount and now tell me they can't look at their records.

Aspen Dental sent me a bill for $340 18 MONTHS after the supposed date of service. At the time, I paid $396.00. I have left repeated messages for an explanation. There is never anyone answering the phone, and my messages have not been returned. Now they're sending my bill to a collection agency. Finding a new dentist. I feel scammed.

Horrible horrible place. Paid 2k on a card and another 1k in cash for Seth pulled and dentures. After all said and done they said we had to get another deep cleaning and pay a fee in order to get the permanents. Not even to mention we went back countless times because the temp dentures were horrible. The bill even shows we paid in full and all of a sudden there’s literally a $500 fee. All they would say is it’s a fee. Yeah for what?! They made up charges to get more money and they still will not give us the permeant ones.

I am writing for a patient of mine who went to Aspen Dental for what was described as a "deep cleaning". He reported that a dental technician scraped the teeth on one side of his mouth for about 10 minutes; there was no brushing or flossing involved. When he went to check out, he was told his payment due was $700 (his Delta Dental Insurance covered $400). The patient was in shock, he paid the $700 in cash. Now he is devastated and furious to have been charged so much for almost no treatment. The patient was told to come back Thursday June 30th at noon to complete the other half of his mouth. The patient, ****** *****, has cancelled that appointment. ******* ******

I came here for an initial examination that went great. The office staff was nice, 10/10 experience. The issues arose when it came to scheduling a wisdom tooth extraction. I called and scheduled an extraction at another office for 8am on April 6th, at the time of scheduling they took payment and told me I was all set. Today, Monday the 4th, I still had not seen any confirmation of the appointment and hadn't heard from them, so I called the office I was supposed to have the procedure done at, they had no record of me being scheduled. In fact, they haven't even been doing oral surgery due to a pending inspection. So now, it's 2 days before my surgery, I've been in extreme pain for three weeks, had an apparent scheduled appointment for nearly two weeks, already paid, and taken time off work. But as it turns out all this time, I had no appointment scheduled, and not once did the office reach out to me about this, despite having my payment. If I hadn't called today I would have showed up on Wednesday for a nonexistent appointment. When calling this office to figure it out, they offered no apology or explanation. They scheduled another appointment at yet another office for over a week from now, in which time I will still be in extreme pain, and have to request more time off work as well as make arrangements for the appointment and aftercare. . I'm not one who usually complains, but this is beyond absurd. The treatment from the office as well as the overall negligence of the staff booking this appointment. If the appointment wasn't scheduled, they could have reached out any time after I originally scheduled and probably have gotten me in sooner, but I heard nothing. If I hadn't called I would have had no idea. If I hadn't already paid I would be going elsewhere. Will definitely not work with Aspen Dental again.
