I believe that this business is engaging in fraudulent activity. They NEVER answer their phone and have not serviced clients for over six weeks, citing a variety of unverified equipment defects. I have tried contacting corporate to no avail and when I tried to speak with the regional manager, it was a woman from this business who called me and gave me the same excuses that were unverified. Something is definitely off here and they should be investigated carefully.Business Response

I am filing a complaint regarding a negative experience with Milan Laser Hair Removal. After one of my underarm laser sessions last year, I developed a lump in my armpit. At my next appointment, I brought this up to the staff and was told it was benign and unrelated to the treatment. However, the lump developed into a painful abscess that lasted for over a month. After seeking medical attention, urgent care professionals informed me that the laser hair removal may have triggered something in my sweat glands and led to the abscess.
I reached out to Milan to cancel future sessions and to discuss my payment plan (I’ve already paid approximately 50% of the total cost). Despite my efforts, no one has responded to my messages.
This has been a frustrating and painful experience, both physically and financially, and I feel it is unacceptable for a medical concern and a customer service issue like this to be ignored.Business Response

In April I paid $4000 to the business to provide the service of laser hair removal. What they did not tell me at the time of purchase is that I would be treated by a visiting provider for my first treatment because they did not actually have a provider on staff. I have not been able to be treated since my first treatment because they don’t actually have an employee capable of treating patients. They took my money and then did not provide services. This is upsetting on many levels, but also because laser hair removal need to be completed in 5-6 week cycles based on hair growth.Business Response

So I’ve been coming to Milan for three years now and it’s been the same thing over and over and over I’ve haven’t been able to geta full body treatment that I’ve paid for in nine sessions. They always have to skip a spot because they don’t have enough time to do the full body, which is ridiculous because I paid $14,000 to get that done. It’s been three years and I’ve haven’t been able to get a full body treatment yet the treatments aren’t even working because the workers are constantly changing the settings. They just hired new people. The new lady lowered my settings because she told me that they had it on the wrong settings. The next session I came into she hiredit to the highest one saying oh my bad it was on the wrong settings, I also got burnt a couple months ago on my armpits. I have the photos to show and I just can’t keep doing it anymore. I want all my money back I feel ripped off. Ifeel very upset. I’m disappointed in the company. I felt like I just got signed into a scam. I contacted the company and they just act they can’t do nothing for me. I’m going to end up contacting a lawyer today.Business Response

I have reached out several times via chat asking to cancel my package and issue. Refund. I’ve had my appointment cancelled due to lack of staff able to administer treatment. When trying to reschedule they are all blacked out on most days or booked out so far due to the same issue. I’m not paying for services I can’t have completed. In Jan on 2024 I purchased 3 body removal areas. I have very fair skin and light body hair that is fine and not course. I am also a natural redhead. I was assured this was going to work for me, but apparently it doesn't work well on fine body hair or light body hair! I was made promises of them getting me to at least 75% hair removal easily. I went to my appointments every 5-6 weeks religiously and each one became increasing more painful. Which is the norm apparently. I feel like my chart was marked wrong constantly. Not all, but some of the nurses made me feel pressured to say my hair loss was far more than it was. I barely noticed a difference, but according to my record I'm like 60% hair loss! My husband said he can't even tell I ever went and honestly, I really can't either. I feel like I was lied to in order to buy more services and was made promises that they couldn't live up to. I was given a 'free trial' and thought maybe I saw some results, but wasn't sure. I was being optimistic that it was going to work. Even one of the redheaded nurses said she was using powers over 40 on herself to try and get better results and even she wasn't up to the promises I was made! In the summer, I felt like they kept trying to get me to not do my legs by saying they weren't "at my base color." I DON'T TAN! I'm the same pale color all year round. When i signed up for Laser treatment I was told that 90% of my armpit would be gone and 70% of my Brazilian. My first treatment was on October 13, 2023 and I have had 13 treatments since then with 3 more scheduled which I am canceling. December 2025 was supposed to be my last laser treatment as stated in the Rockford location but at the end of March all of my armpit hair returned. My Brazilian I lost maybe 30% of my hair and have patches growing back within those spots. I started going to janesville to see if anything was going to come out of this as Rockford has not had a technician since January. If nothing has happened on the 13 treatments I have has, 3 more will not make a difference. I would like the remaining balance of my loan to be canceled as the treatments were ineffective and I do not feel I should financially be responsible for paying for a service that had not delivered the promised results after almost 2 years.Customer Answer

I am filing this complaint regarding Milan Laser Hair Removal. On 06/26/2025, I signed a contract for laser hair removal services covering three body areas at the Gwinnett location. At the time of signing, I felt pressured by the staff into agreeing to a package without being given reasonable time to review or consider the terms.
I have since received only one treatment session on each area. After reviewing my finances and the contract, I have decided I do not wish to continue. I contacted the clinic, but they were unwilling to provide clear information about canceling and refunding the unused portion.
This situation has caused me stress and frustration. I am requesting the immediate cancellation of my contract and a prorated refund for the remaining, unused sessions.Business Response

I signed up for a package at Milan laser in December 2024.
It took until February to get an initial appointment.
During my intake/payment the Nurse Practitioner represented that I would be able to follow the requires treatment schedule for results. However, throughout this process Milan has cancelled over half my appointments and refuses to reschedule for months at a time which interferes with the efficacy of the services.
I have been scheduled for six appointments and three were cancelled.
The clinic refused to take my call and the scheduling office refused to provide my contract.
At this point I am no longer interested in services and would like the remainder of my payments refunded as the treatment promised is not available and/or Milan laser had refused to provide it.Business Response

I am seeking a refund and cancellation of services. I haven’t received any treatment not even the free treatment. I went on May 6th for my consultation at the clinic in Macon, GA and I had no intentions on buying anything but I felt pressured as I am just recently graduated and the tactics of playing in my emotions and insecurities. I have since my consultation read many reviews that it didn’t work and many clinics are shutting down. I don’t want to take either of those risk nor was I aware of it. As well as I have also read it’s easier to cancel when no treatments have been received. On June 3, I have told *****, the clinic manager at the Macon office that I would like to stop and she said she would contact higher ups and to look for a number from Nebraska which I have not heard from anybody since then. I have also looked for an email as well since I work nights. Since then my card had been charged and that is money I need for bills and cannot pay them and now behind. I have been charged the amount of my payment plus a late fee. Which is $312.26 plus $20.00. Since the end of the month is coming up, I do not want to be charged and want my money back which includes the one payment made and the deposit of $99.00.Business Response
