Great Song and recording “2525” by Zager and Evans on the album Exordium & Terminus in 1969. I was a military brat with Dad a US Marine Corps officer stationed at Da Nang in heart of Vietnam war, his 3rd which 2525 was released. I felt this song was an Ode to an impossible future: USSR Cold War, Vietnam, and My own budding involvement with the Peace movement. My Dad really liked the song too and I found out later he had connected with Buddhist monks in Thailand while on leave. I think 2525 and “Eve of Destruction” really turned him toward deep reflection about war and life. 2525 certainly impacted me deeply storing a pondering of our future and now still here half a century later with same issues escalated for Humanity. I received my ZAD900CE in black lacquer on 4/4/24. As soon as I opened the case I was struck by the beauty of this instrument. As I took it out and looked it over I was impressed by the fit and finish and attention to detail in its construction. But that was just the beginning; as I began to play it I immediately understood what Dennis means by “easy, painless playing”. This beauty played like warm butter! And the sound… WOW! 04/03/2024 I love my ZAGER guitar. I play now every night when I get home from work. I have a VERY STRESSFUL job, so playing the guitar serves as a great stress reliever for me. Before I know it, minutes have turned into hours, and it is past my bedtime. I don’t care! Because I have never had an amplifier, I bought a small one. Now, the great ZAGER guitar sound resonates throughout the house. My 83-year old parents (who live with me) can now hear the guitar easily from their recliners in the den. They enjoy my new ZAGER guitar too! Thank you so much for this wonderful, beautiful guitar. I am blessed!

I recently purchased a ZAD-50OM. I almost didn't go with Zager because of all the noise on the internet about the company. At some point I realized none of the people talking negatively about Zager actually owned or had played a Zager guitar. Everything I read from folks that had a Zager guitar was overwhelmingly positive, so I decided to take a chance. I have to tell you I am beyond impressed. This guitar has far exceeded my expectations. It is a delight to play and I am astounded at the quality for the price I paid for it.

Larry C. I received a ZAD50-OM yesterday(3/18/24) and I can't say enough good things about Zager and the guitar. It arrived less than a week after I ordered it, in perfect condition in their ABS case and with a bunch of neat tchotchkes. Got it out of the case, tuned it a bit, and it's a great guitar. Very bright sounding, but nicely balanced and very comfortable to play. The joinery, inlay work and finish is flawless and yes, it does play easily. The neck is a nice compromise between a slim electric neck and a slightly wider acoustic one. And I know that the extra spacing between the strings is negligible, but it does make that little bit of difference. I've played "at" guitar for the past 60 or so years, mostly noodling with electrics - and between me and my kid - a 27 y.o. guitarist and instructor - there are probably 30 guitars in our house ranging from 30s-50s acoustics, 70s-2020s electrics from $300 - north of $10,000 ,and this is as nice as any of them. And the buying experience was terrific. I emailed probably half a dozen questions about the guitar, shipping and recommended accessories and I got prompt answers from Denny Jr. and the Zager staff for each question. I really can't say enough about how pleased I am with the guitar and the Zager team. Sorry to hear that Denny Sr. is retiring, but it is obvious to me that it's a well deserved one. I thought the name Zager sounded familiar - listened to "In the Year 2525" for an entire summer painting my uncle's house in 1969. Never had any idea I'd ever cross paths with Denny Zager. Very happy I did.

Received my guitar yesterday and it truly is amazing! Fantastic craftsmanship and the tone is absolutely amazing! This was a great purchase and one that I would definitely do again! I received my Zager 900CE today !!! It arrived in perfect condition after its far journey. I will be 69 next month and have been playing mostly acoustic guitar since I was 10. I have owned high end Takamine, Martin, Guild, Carvin, Alvarez-Yairi, and Taylor guitars during the past 60 or so years. Upon opening my 900CE I was extremely impressed by the quality of the workmanship…fret finish, purfling, inlays, Grover tuners…and the wood finish is superb! How very light it is…but extremely comfortable to hold! I tuned it up and could not put it down for 2 hours! I was comparing the sound to my Taylor 714ce…and I must admit the over all BALANCE of this guitar outshines the Taylor. Tight bass in lower strings and the trebles are not overly bright…just….right! Projection, intonation, and sustain are outstanding right out of the case!!! This guitar sings!….and I can only imagine how much better it will sound as the wood ages and settles. Ahhhh along with age comes the arthritis in the fingers and knuckles, so I was anxious to try out the advertised easy playability feature of Zager guitars. I noticed the difference in 2 hours of playing! Once I got used to the guitars feel and shape of the neck……I realized the slightly wider Zager neck works ExZAGTLY the way it was designed! A lot easier to play up the entire neck and a lot less dead string clunk from arthritic fingers!!! VERY IMPRESSIVE! Thank you for making this beautiful instrument. A hands down winner in all respects!

From beginning to end, the entire process of selection, ordering and delivery was very smooth. The guitar (ZAD50 OM) came in a very nice protective case and included several accessories--e.g., a strap, Allen wrench, t-shirt, certificate of authenticity, etc. The guitar itself sounds, feels and looks fantastic. There was a very small pebble, or something, rattling around inside, that fell out easily enough (no worse than removing a pick). I did adjust the relief and saddle a bit, but the action at the nut is perfect. Overall, I'm very happy with the purchase. Thanks!

I first want to thank Zager for its OUTSTANDING customer service as I had a few modifications to my order and they nailed it ( Thank you ). For the kit I received, it is by-fare the best playing guitar straight out of the case guitar I have ever purchased or received.
