I am leaving this review based mainly on the unprofessional manner of the employee, *****, who screens calls and schedules. After my first phone contact*********, I noticed *** was increasingly quick to be harsh and borderline rude on subsequent calls.

All bills have been promptly paid so I know that could not be an excuse for treating me with less respect. As others have commented in reviews elsewhere, *** makes it clear that whatever *** tells you is the way it is and if you don't like it, you can find another company. *** tone communicates an unwillingness to listen to concerns especially if there is any issue almost before you can raise a question.

The owner was sent out on the first problem I had last March. He was pleasant, quick to diagnose the trouble, fast to fix it and reasonable with the charge.

Other technicians and a journeyman were sent out for the other two issues.
The trip cost more than doubled for both. I expected an increase due to fuel costs.

There is now an issue from the work to employees performed about a month ago and when I tried to explain it to *****, *** immediately took the defensive. *** was quick to tell me they were at least two weeks which I said I expected.

I requested to have the owner sent to help if possible and that I knew it didn't call for two laborers. *** said he was double the labor costs although that was not the case previously.

Then *** said they had to cut costs and were no longer going to service my area.

By the end of the conversation (which included my questioning the more than double trip charge), *** told me *** couldn't guarantee they could help and advised me to find someone else although I said I just wanted to be on the wait list. *** said *** would put it in a sticky note and hope for the best. Really?

I sincerely hope someone at Warren T plumbing will realize the value of a professional with good customer service skills to handle customer calls and scheduling.

In early June, I called to contract with Warren-T to have the incoming waterline repaired/replaced as it was determined by the city to be on my side of the sidewalk and therefore my expense. Initially, I was impressed by Les who came out and told us how to use backflow from the neighbor's outdoor faucet while we waited for the process to be completed. He even took it upon himself to ask the neighbor's permission. At that time, we were told the plan would be to "drill" through the ground and into the house for connection. Each week I called to check the progress of "when" this project would be scheduled. Each week I got the same story, the man who owns the drilling company was not returning the calls made by Warren-T. (That should have been a red flag for me, but, since I had used Warren-T for previous projects and was pleased I stuck it out). I finally asked point-blank if the delay was due to Warren-T not wanting to take the job and was assured they very much wanted to do this work for me. Finally, towards the end of August, the workers actually arrived and dug a trench from the street to my house and replaced the waterline. This process left my entire yard in shambles and several pieces of sidewalk chunks in piles as well. I was told the workers would return the next day to clean up and build replacement sidewalks. That did not happen. Instead, I received a bill for the total. I called and requested to know when the sidewalk would be repaired and could I have an itemized bill so I would know how much the different parts of the job cost ie: trenching, plumbing, etc. Angie, the secretary was very rude and demeaning to me and said there was no way she would do that. "Nope, not going to" were her exact words, and "Not gonna happen!" She kept saying it would not change the "bid" which was something I never did get...an estimate or bid for the work to be done was not an option I was told because the project would require the work of different companies and therefore could not be projected. I did receive a second bill that gave a poorly described itemization and comments that I already had $1500 taken off the bill so I should be happy. I could not see where anything was deducted in the itemization, however. Sadly, my father-in-law (who lived with us as a hospice patient) passed away on August 23rd and the police had to assist the mortician to get the body through the mess still in my front yard. What a sad state to be left in and what a poor example of customer service by Warren-T. Since then, I received a 3rd bill with a yellow highlighter noting it was between 1 & 30 days due. (the work has only been completed for 2 weeks). The same day, I also received a letter from the city with a deadline to clean up the mess and repair the sidewalk or be fined. I would not recommend this company to anyone. They are not professional, not reliable, not true to their word, and certainly not worth waiting 3 months for. Too bad I can't make a negative star!
