3 starsI got a loan from these people....so I talked to someone to get an extension for a different date so the young lady told me call 2 days ahead of time then I wouldn't get the interest rate charge.... So here today I'm calling to let them know that my bill will be paid on a certain date and they still charging me entrance rate $3 every day until I pay my payment which will only be like $21 but not a charging me 398 make it make senseSpotloan

1 star????? Spotloan has already taken $1,096.80 from me on an $800 loan and now refuses to offer a reasonable settlement or respond to my hardship request. I declined their settlement because it wasn't based on hardship, and I offered a fair $100 in good faith to fully resolve the account. *** now filed two formal complaints with the **** and one with the BBB. Theyve gone completely silent. No replies through any channel. Its unethical and exploitative especially after I revoked ACH and put the account into formal dispute. This is how they treat people trying to resolve things respectfully? Shameful.Spotloan

1 starSpotloan has displayed no willingness to work with a returning customer whom has paid multiple loans back on-time/early (zero late payments prior to currrent loan) while dealing with what my *** has described as the "perfect storm"; a combination of abrupt tremendous medical and financial hardship (multiple surgeries with a third likely necessary and job elimination shortly after being promoted due to no fault of my own - I've offered to share documentation to no interest of Spotloan).I knew Spotloan was a high risk lender, however I was also was unaware the loan exceeds Ohio's legal interest rate cap and that they're aware of the legal precedents against tribal lenders operating outside reservation boundaries. Due to this and various documented FDCPA violations, I am requesting a debt waiver effective today. I will no longer continue to deal with the harassment and will pursue this further with the Attorney General and state regulatory/consumer protection authorities if unable to reach resolution.Sincerely,***** ******Spotloan

Hello,Please note I do not find the response acceptable. I maintain the prior concern of attempting to circumvent OH state law and interest cap regulations due to what Spotloan considers tribal immunity. This is why a large class action law suit was won against their "rent a bank" (often referred to). I am open to negotiating but under the regulations and my hardship, I am not willing to accept the proposed offer. I plan on following up with the Consumer Financial Bureau, OH Attorney General and all resources available to protecting consumers in my state to predatory lending such as Spotloan. I will pursue this matter to the furthest extent until resolved.I hope a resolution is available, as I am willing to accept a debt waiver with any tax implications.Sincerely,*****Review fromMarla V

1 starI cannot and have not been able to login to Spotloan to look at my account, make payment, nothing. I try to open the site and I get a big red dot with a black X in the middle of it saying I am blocked me. It tells me to contact the owner of the site which I have now 9 times and still cant access anything. Im told I have to use ****** Chrome to no avail. Then Im told to turn of VPN and still blocked. Its like Im blocked for a reason. So, I have to call every time I have a payment due. I had autopay set up which somehow it was canceled.Spotloan

5 starsI cant understand the bad reviews at all? You can change your payment amounts and day you want to pay, obviously these other reviewers didn't send them an email or call them. They do any request i asked them to do. P.S. when i was starving for food they were the only ones to send money the next day, sometimes even the same day. Beautiful Beautiful people!Spotloan

1 starWhen I applied for the loan I asked and checked a monthy payment. After I got the money I got billed every two weeks for what the monthy is. ITS A HUGE SCAM!! STAY AWAY!! Interest is crazy high. Much better options.. They should Lowes and work with people and not lie on payments. I actually got a screen shot of what I applied for and the papers I got do not reflect.
