STAY AS FAR AWAY FROM THIS GUY AND COMPANY AS YOU CAN! PLEASE READ BEFORE EVEN REACHING OUT TO THIS GUY! Neil was super helpful on the phone and drove to our office and met with us. We were so surprised that he took very little notes about what we were designing in our 75' X 150' building. It took three months or better for him to finally have a quote to us and the building drawing that he made was incorrect. After another three months we finally had the drawings correct but no new quotes for the changes. Several weeks went by and finally we had what Neil said was "to be used to complete the need for getting our construction loan." Our loan was finalized in November of 2019 and we drove to 136 Harley Road, checkbook in hand, ready to order our building. Neil said, "We will settle up on money once we are invoiced from the building manufacturer." I was adamant in giving him some form of deposit and signing some type of contract but he said that he does not do business that way. He made a phone call to the manufacturer and wrote our name on his board and said that we were all done. Boy, we had no idea that THAT was far from the truth. We called in March of 2020 once COVID-19 took over the world and made sure that our building was safely ordered and that there would be no delays and Neil assured us that we were good to go. A few days later, AFTER OUR PHONE CALL TO CHECK ON OUR BUILDING, Neil calls us and asks if we have an engineer. We said yes and our plans were complete. He asked if he could get a copy of their plans and we sent them to him only to find out the he was referring to a building engineer not a civil engineer. We were terribly confused as we do not do this every day. We now had to get these plans after Neil told us that he had one and that he was ordering everything we needed for us. This was an $8500 surprise and another 3-4 week delay. Once we had them, we sent them straight to Neil. He told us not to worry that this would not interrupt our timeline nor the price. Months go by. Neil wasn't answering our phone calls. Our storm water and land clearing was complete. Our project was stalled because we had no building NOR COULD ANYONE GET A SIMPLE ANCHOR BOLT PLAN FROM NEIL! Finally in February of 2021, I stopped in and Neil scrambled to hide but I saw him. He locks his door to his business because he has a dog inside. He walks outside and said that he has no idea what's happening. He does know that there will be a huge price increase due to Covid, though. WHAT?? I was beyond furious. He still could not give us a timeline on a delivery. I left. I started calling the manufacturer, finally I spoke to Eric Smith with CornerStone Building Brands. He started telling me about a merger that happened in March of 2020 and that that may have had an impact on my situation. He promised he would look into it and get back to me ASAP. He called me back and told me that my project was out on hold in March of 2020 but there were no notes as to why. But it is obvious that that was the month that Neil called to ask for our engineered plans and he did not have them therefore the manufacturer could not move forward. Eric was understanding and said that he would intervene and help us out. He called and gave me an amazing time frame and said that they would move my project forward ASAP. A week later, they emailed me the plans for me to sign off on and the plans were the original plans from 2019! They could not change from these plans if I wanted to keep my place in line. Obviously, I could not do that. I had full PM&E plans in hand. I had everything ready to go on the plans that were engineered for me. Eric's words were, "Take it or leave it, sir." WE LEFT IT! Today is August of 2021 and we cannot get a metal building and have had to switch to block structure due to the massive metal shortages and our prices have gone completely out of control.
