  Do not use this company! We paid them in full to obtain a discount, shame on us. The pool remains in the ground, no pump or electric, green water. Owner ***** does not return phones calls, its been six months.I would never buy from this company!

  Bought a tub in July of 2023, first off the salesman mislead us to believe that we wouldnt have to make a payment for 6 months but corrected hisself after we confronted them when the finance company came looking for their money after only a month. That was all fine and good but when the pool came in it was slightly damaged. All cosmetic but was when you pay a premium for a tub you want everything to be scratch free and dent free which I didnt feel was too much to ask. We had already waited 8 months for the tub so the sales manager told us to take the tub and they would get a replacement for us on the next truck cant tell you how many times we heard that saying. Here we are after countless times of calling and even showing up at the business with not resolution. Please please please beware before you make your purchase.

  We went to Back Yard Leisure to purchase an 'inground' pool. During the initial visit everything was going good. When they came out to dig the hole for pool and then noticed the side of the pool was 10 inches above ground. We have stuck to this issue throughout the process and no one has done anything about it and continued on. Now the concrete around the pool is an incline, you cannot sit flat in a chair around our pool. J hooks were to be installed for cover and we cannot use cover we ordered. Landscaping lights ran over & broken, Bottom line we have an 'above ground'. It is not flat or level with the ground. Do not buy from them, we have called, and called they came out and looked at it and agreed. The concrete contractor agree the pool was left too high above the ground as well as the sales person. I am not done with this situation

  They will not stand behind their product or give customer support. I was sold on the promise of a worry free experience, based on the over engineered quality of the pool. The pool wall slipped track at some point after their installation and was not noticed until I had to change the premium liner after only 4 years. Instead of replacing the liner with a known issue (wall being out of track), I called for customer support, and was told they would get back with me on a solution. In the mean time the entire wall collapsed and I now have a $9000 pool that needs to be completely disassembled and reinstalled. They offered to redo it for $1600 in labor and $1300 for a new wall if It needed it. For a pool that was supposed to be of the highest quality I paid a premium for the trouble free experience and ease of maintenance. It is anything but.

  Of course, we pick the worst time to go pool shopping. Between the supply chain issues and having vetted every pool installer's personal preference on pool type, we were off to a painful start.
  We met with many pool companies for over a month. Companies of all different sizes, and although each was independently unique, the same stipulations applied across the board. The pool installs were at least 12 months out and getting someone to sit down for a consult was around one month out. It was very frustrating.
  We stumbled across Backyard Leisure and decided to give them a try. Don't judge the company by the area in which their Raleigh office is located, these guys are legit. ***** ****** actually sat down with us on the spot and provided us with the information we were seeking. He answered all of our questions and provided us with much needed insight to help us plan our next move. On top of all that, the anticipated install was less than 12 months out. ***** clearly knew what he was talking about and also helped us realize the best approach to our inground spa.
  ***** was there throughout the entire process; he was more of a partner than a salesman and still is. They have some real talent working for them, ******* leading installs gained my trust and confidence within an hour of him being onsite during the install, he knows his stuff.
  At the end of the day, we are more than happy with the product and the team at Backyard Leisure.
