We were referred to *** by a friend because we were looking for someone to help with our taxes since I started a business this past year so we knew itd be a bit more complicated. Initially, *** was very communicative and agreeable. We gave him all of our documents, he assured us hed either file them by the deadline or if he ran out of time (we were contacting him late in the season, I was skeptical hed take us on) he said he would just file an extension for us. My husband communicated with him multiple times after he said he had everything he needed and *** consistently reassured him that hed reach out to us once everything was done. Its now July and weve been calling, emailing and texting him for months but hes essentially ghosted, no response so I guess were just out of luck. Would never recommend him to anyoneBusiness response

I received a call from the **** inquiring about tax preparation for the 2022 tax year in March 2023. I spent time answering his questions regarding his wife's business and explaining the process, he indicated he would discuss it with his wife and get back with me. I ultimately received their information in electronic form on April 1 and there was a clear understanding that being a new client and not getting the information until April 1st, I would need to extend their returns which I did. The due date of the extended returns is not until October 16, 2023 so there have been no deadlines missed and they are in compliance. Since I only received electronic copies of the tax information there is nothing to return - no funds were exchanged and there is no bill. Based on my email correspondence with **** they will engage someone else prepare their returns.Customer response
