I hired Award Pools in the later part of *************************************************************************************** early 2022, however the pool has not yet had its final inspection. Since then I have attempted to contact ******* @ Award Pools about this and there is always either an excuse as to why this hasn't occurred or no communication at all. I have since discovered there is an issue regarding the initial permitting of said pool that I need their help to clarify. I request the pool inspection be scheduled and this project be completed so we can finalize our business with Award Pools.Initial Complaint

We contracted with Award pools to install an inground pool. The work began in March of 2022 and is still not completed. Although we have heard excuses about contractors, they have not used a single contractor to this point. There have been no material delays and no excuse for the time to complete the work. We have sent dozens of emails without any response. After finally receiving a response two weeks ago, we were told the electrician would be on site to finish the permanent hook **** No electrician showed up and we received no communication. Obviously, based on the other complaints, they could not care less about their reputation or customers. This is our last effort before legal action against the company.Customer response

This has been a really terrible experience. Poor communication. I understand there are supply chain constraints due to the pandemic but communication is NOT one of them. I should NOT have to reach out for updates on my project, if i didn't initiate contact then i would still be in the dark! Several times I've reached out and was told there was a delay that Award Pools was aware of but was never relayed to me. I have close to ten unresponded emails and phone calls. The original contract was signed back in Feb of this year where i gave a 3k deposit. It was modified in August it's now about to be December and still not product no ETA. The last correspondence i had with this company i was told there was a family emergency and i would be followed up with. Since then there have been social media posts of other jobs being fulfilled and i have yet to hear from anyone with this company. I would just like to have my money/deposit refunded and move on so i don't have to start the small claims court process but now it seems like i am being avoided by them.Business response

GOOD AFTERNOON, DUE TO EXTREME SHORTAGES OF ALL KINDS OF MATERIALS AND THE LABOR CRISIS THE WHOLE **** INDUSTRY IS STRUGGLING. THERE IS NO CONSISTENCY OF MATERIAL FLOW.OR HELP TO GET JOBS COMPLETED I AM SORRY HE IS SO UPSET BUT THE **** INDUSTRY IS NOT THE ONLY INDUSTRY SUFFERING DUE TO SICKNESS AND SHORTAGES THE WHOLE INDUSTRY IS BEHIND WE HAVE NEVER EXPERINCED SHORTAGES LIKE THIS AND NO ANSWERS ON MATERIAL AVALIBITY OR TIME FRAMES. ******************* SIGNED A CANTRACT THAT STATES ON LINE 18 THERE IS NO REFUNDS AFTER 3 DAYS. THE CONTRACT WAS SIGNED IN AUGUST OF THIS YEAR.WE HAVE PUT TIME AND EFFORT ORDERING THIS **** AND MAKING HOME VISITS TO DISCUSS THE DESIGNS WE CAN NOT WORK FOR FREE . I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. All I ask is for my money to be refunded. Please provide an ETA on that. In the future timely responses to your clients would go a long way, As you must have seen in previous complaints.
