1 starI ordered a toilet from Lowe's including installation. REMOVEDhandles the installation. The installation was rescheduled twice, both times one hour before the scheduled installation. The third time I got a confirmation email in the morning (Booking ID #REMOVEDbut the installer was a no show with no communications. I sent an email and got a response that they would be in touch. 1 starI am filing this complaint due to serious misconduct, lack of accountability, & failure to resolve issues caused by Lowes during a kitchen reno involving approx $7,500 in cabinets & $4000 in appliances.Below is a summary of events: Contractor ordered cabinets through Lowes & paid in full salesperson altered the cabinet order without authorization, changing the size of my upper cabinets unauthorized change resulted in cabinets that were too tall Corrected cabinets received last week Cabinets are now missing & nobody knows where they went An appliance was also sold out from under me the day before delivery When attempting to resolve this matter: A store manager, REMOVED, told me he did not know what happened but he would call me back. He has not. No one has taken ownership, escalated appropriately, or expressed urgency over the fact that $7,500 worth of paid-for cabinets are gone The unauthorized order modification, incorrect delivery, delayed correction, confirmation of receipt & now missing cabinets represents a complete breakdown in internal REMOVEDservice. The lack of concern shown regarding missing product of this value is deeply troubling & has destroyed my confidence in Lowes handling of this REMOVEDa result, my kitchen has been partially demolished for weeks, my pantry contents are stored in totes, & my household has experienced ongoing disruption. This is not a routine delay or supply issue. 1 starI bought a brand new refrigerator from Lowes with the protection plan and the freezer went out 3 times now . The last 2 times they had service people come out fixed it but broke again same thing freezer issue. Service guy came then left couldnt fix it and its been 7 days and heard nothing from anyone on what there doing about it - this is sick how I paid about $600 to protect my purchase and here it is a year later 3 services and still no freezer on a brand new REMOVEDproductReview fromBrooke S

1 starAbsolutely unacceptable experience with Lowes.I paid over $15,000 for cabinet installation in April, and months later the job is still not complete. On top of that, I paid $6,000 for countertops, which have now been installed twice due to Lowes installation mistakesand are still damaged. This is beyond frustrating; its completely unacceptable.Since April, Lowes has provided zero proactive communication. No calls. No updates. No scheduling follow-ups. When I walk into Lowes now for an update, its become a literal joke with employees. Every attempt I make to get answers results in nothing but the runaround, with no one taking ownership or providing a clear plan to finish the job REMOVEDmake matters worse, the Lowes countertop installers damaged the cabinets, creating even more issues that Lowes has failed to resolve. We have also had cabinet materials sitting in our garage since REMOVEDwaiting to be installed, while we live with a half-finished kitchen.The lack of communication, coordination, and accountability is staggering. We paid tens of thousands of dollars expecting professional project managementnot repeated mistakes, damaged materials, and months of inaction.For a company as large as Lowes, this level of incompetence is shocking. 1 starBought a double oven at Lowes and paid for install and was told they come out and measure prior.Well they didnt.CRST HOME SOLUTIONS SHOWS UP REMOVEDfrom REMOVEDand attempt to install this double oven that didnt fit and no one measured apparently and then wanted me to be content or modify my walls or countertop to make it work and I said hREMOVEDno take it back Ill have to find one that fits so I helped him take it out and he was about to take off and leave and my wife said are you not going install our old one we will be without a oven and already waited 5 weeks for the one that didnt fit! He didnt want to install it but I thought it was ridiculous well I helped him put in the old one to then let him take off and leave and flip the breaker and the oven blew up! Started smoking out my house and everything. Come to find out he wired it wrong and just about burned down my home. REMOVEDhome solutions just gives you the run around and are useless I cant get them to give me an assessment and had to bring in my own electrician to confirm they screwed my old oven up and wired 240v to the mother board.Highly recommend not using Lowes for installs anymore. 2 starsOn September 24 I paid my balance of $1448.45 completely off and I had a zero balance as of September 27th.Lowes has been awesome about texting me about up coming payments.Since I had a zero balance on the 27th of September Im thinking my account is Zero on October 10 Lowes charges me REMOVEDinterest charges on a zero balance and continue to REMOVEDI stated they always notify me via text or call. For two months nothing via text.Yesterday I received a notification from the three credit bureau that my credit rating dropped 80 points due to a 30 day past due balance of REMOVEDlowes credit card.I contacted Lowes as soon as I saw this.Explain I had received a notification like normal i submitted the payment and asked if they could remove this from my credit. The lady said she would handle it Today i called got a man when I explained what happened and asked where this was his whole tone changed He started getting smart and got an attitude my credit score dropped 80 points over 21 dollars and 45 cents.I had stopped using the email address on file cause company I had worked for all 2500 employees personal information was leaked on the dark web.The Lowes REMOVEDwas serious hateful I just hung up. I called back this time I got a female at first shes nice and lets me explain what happened and Id like to see if Lowes could remove this from my credit as a favor since hadnt received text about this balance. She starts over talking me tell me Lowes cant do this and Lowes email me I was looking at my email I had to ask her few times over and over what was the date so it would be easier to find and not waste her time. Again I told her I wanted to see if Lowes would remove it and I always paid my account she got hateful . 1 starI purchased kitchen cabinets and appliances from the virtual design program. This has been the single worst renovation project Ive done. After the sale you are handed over to the customer service team. They are incapable of doing simple tasks such as returning calls/ emails. I have made dozens of calls the only way to get to a live person is to say you are an installer. Customers end up being directed to voicemail or hung up on. The delivery of the cabinets was incredibly disorganized and unprofessional. The company they subcontracted with for delivery (island delivery) was impossible to work with. Supposedly delivery date and time was confirmed with me, it was not. I ended up having to take an entire day off work to wait around for the cabinets despite asking multiple times to be given a 1pm or later delivery slot. After many phone calls to both Lowes and the delivery company I was given a delivery window of 10:45-2:45pm. Four hour window in the middle of the day was the best they could do. I called as they were delivering the cabinets to ask them to add me to the install schedule. This was something that couldnt be completed prior to the cabinets physically being in my home. Now am in the process of waiting to hear back from the installer. I would be surprised if I have a kitchen by February at this point. 2 starsAfter spending nearly $37,000 on a kitchen renovation through Lowe's ($20,000 on cabinets, $9,000 on installation, $7,800 on countertops), I am left with a nightmare of unprofessionalism and broken promises.Despite clear communication, Lowe's team made repeated errors in cabinet dimensions. The most egregious failure is the soft-close hinges, which perform nothing like the store display model I was shown. Multiple cabinets required rework, and a defective wall cabinet remains unresolved to this day.Months of my time and energy have been wasted chasing solutions. When I escalated to Lowe's management, the response was a masterclass in deflectionblaming me, blaming the factory, refusing to acknowledge their own errors or the fundamental mismatch of the product they sold.I entrusted Lowe's with a significant project and budget, expecting expertise and accountability. 1 starEveryone Ive encountered working for Lowes is a liar. Purchased a washer and dryer last weekend from the REMOVEDlocation in REMOVED, REMOVED. Was told by the associate that we can schedule an exact delivery window, so we picked 4pm-8pm on Thursday. The day before, we received a text saying 11 am-3 pm but we wont be home. Spoke to customer service and then was transferred to the warehouse and that associate told us the store employee lied but she can schedule a specific timeframe, so we did 8 am to 12 pm on Saturday. Well its Saturday and we were just informed that that we are number 14 for timeframe 11am-3:30 pm, so we wont see anyone until closer to 3 pm. This has been a nightmare and has honestly soured Lowes for us. I know you all obviously dont care but this will be our last Lowes trip and Ill make sure my friends and family are warned from this company as well. All you do is lie and make people waste their time. If we had been told the truth in the first place, 8 am to 8 pm, we wouldve understood. I feel like our delivery fee or something should be reimbursed since the whole issue has been our delivery window being lies. Once again, I know Lowes corporate obviously doesnt care about people as I see several reviews here not responded to.
