I purchased a new Rinnai tankless hot water heater on 05/30/2020 for my house which was being newly constructed. I moved into this house around July 2021. All total the new water heater was $977.14 paid by me (see receipt.)I contacted Minyard's Plumbing a few weeks ago, as they were listed as a dealer on ******'s website and near me. I needed to have my tankless heater flushed out as it has been two years since it was installed new. Minyard's had two individuals come today for 3.5 hours to flush the tank. I was charged $597.69 (see receipt attachment.) I called Rinnai directly *************) today and was told that a flushing of the tankless hot water heater should take around an hour but no more than two hours if an issue. When I asked if it should take 3.5 hours with two individuals completing the flushing, I was told that shouldn't happen. I called Minyard's to question the high cost as well as provide the response by ****** (see above), yet they were not willing to come to a resolution. I have paid the full amount to Minyard's but am requesting have partial refund based on the fact the plumber **************) said there were no issues, this is a relatively new unit and ****** said it should not have taken that long to flush out, especially with two people. This cost seems excessive plus I did not know in advance they were sending two individuals and I had to pay for both.Business response

We sent this customer a reimbursement check for $150.00 as we had agreed.
