      Slatter Management never returns emails or phone calls. We pay a premium for dues and have been waiting for issues to be resolved for years. Going to annual meetings makes no difference in how issues are handled. We are in desperate need of repairs; the landscaping is a mess, and our pavement has holes. Someone needs to step up and let these HOA management companies know they will be held accountable.

      *****, I will certainly look into your complaint that calls are not returned. We are able to log the phone number you call from and research the return call or lack thereof. In regards to the monthly assessment, the amount is derived from the operating expenses and capital project expenses for the community. The Association is currently underfunded thus projects that need to be completed have to be addressed in the order of necessity. There are currently buildings that have siding in need of replacement due to the deterioration of the masonite siding over time. The Board is in the process of putting together a plan in order of priority for these buildings. Roofing and siding projects must take precedence over asphalt and landscaping. All decisions are made by your Board of Directors. Slatter Management is hired by the Board of Directors to carry out their decisions.

      In response to your reply, I have left phone messages, emails, and also, I have gone to your website and asked for answers. I have received zero response. Regarding the board in the process of putting together a plan. We were told at the annual meeting there would be updates on plans for the property. It's September and we have not received the first update. We are all homeowners here and we deserve to know if there are plans for our property.

      If I could give zero stars I would! This company is unprofessional & offers sub-par customer service. They are the management company for my neighborhood. In the time they’ve been in charge, there has been a rapid decline in the amenities and overall appearance of the neighborhood (pool, pond, grounds, etc). Many neighbors have emailed Slatter and get no resolution to the issues or no response at all! This is unacceptable when we pay HOA dues! Get it together Slatter!

      ********, I understand your frustration and your perception of what has occurred since Slatter was hired by the developer to manage the community. Slatter Management is the Agent for the Board of Directors and actions the decisions made by the Board of Directors. The Board and Slatter have solved the issue with the pool pump and liaised with the landscapers to improve service. The pond is green as the decision was made, by the Board, not to spend funds to address the issue based on the information from the pond company that it will remedy itself naturally. These items were communicated via multiple community email blasts. I am happy to discuss this further by direct communication between the two of us. Kay T******* - President

      We appreciate the new efforts to correct some of the on-going issues. However, the main point of the complaint is the lack of resolution after a series of emails/calls to Slatter as well as the extremely poor customer service neighbors have had from your company over the past several months. Many received no response at all most of the summer. I’m glad the pool deck was finally pressure washed near the end of summer & it is now in working order. I’m thrilled the company is now mowing since neighbors have mowed several common areas during spring & summer. Hopefully our community will continue to see improvements rather than the declining conditions we’ve been experiencing. Thanks for your reply, We look forward to moving in a more positive direction.

      Slatter Management is contracted to take a care of all of our exterior at Henson Park. However, they have done a very poor job at managing this. I’ve made multiple complaints about my front and backyard sodding. The landscaping is extremely poor. After living here over 8 months I still have clay piled up in my backyard which has yet to be cleaned up and covered with mulch. Now they’re refusing to treat/clean up the snow and ice on the roads so now we have to drive and walk on slippery streets until it melts. I’ve requested our contract information and was advised they can’t provide it until after everything is turned over by DR H*****. This is getting ridiculous and if this is the beginning I can only expect for it to get worse.

      Slatter Management does not make the decisions for the community, we action the decisions made by the Board of Directors. Snow policy – this is put in place by the Board of Directors and is being followed as it is written. Communication was sent prior to the winter weather event as to what would be done / not done. Their snow policy is posted on their website and included in their R&R’s document. Landscaping issues – the sod that was laid around her building in the early spring of 2021 died. D.R. Horton came in and replace it with instructions to the homeowners that they needed to water it. The sod they placed in the front died again in October. D.R. Horton said they were not going to replace it again. In November, Jeremy arranged for the Association’s landscaper go and meet with her to discuss what can be done to help with her grass growth. Since this is in November, other than the contracted turf treatment program that is in place for the winter season, there isn’t much that can be done for her lawn until we get into the spring. Jeremy has communicated with her on numerous occasions, also stating ” Our goal is to have the landscapers address your concerns and approach this in a timely manner – when the weather is conducive to any sort of turf program that will improve the aesthetics and health of your grass. As we have discussed previously, turf management can take some time as the grass does not grow in the winter.” From what I can see in her emails to us, she is expecting to have grass established when she was reaching out in November. Based on the above we dispute the complaint against Slatter Management.

      In hind sight I see why I should have done my research on this property. Phone calls go unreturned, maintenance issues, and many safety concerns. We pay our dues, can we just get some assistance? It sounds like many of these complaints are from other properties about Statter Management but it sounds like Slatter just passes the buck. So disappointed in this company! I hope something is done about this company!

      I am a resident at Country Club Condominiums and I Would give no stars, VERY poor management. Slow or never address maintenance issues. Broken windows and gates not working properly. Charge a lot for HOA fees and do nothing but have minimal landscaping once a week.

      Slatter Management is an Agent contracted by the Board of Directors to carry our the decisions made by the Board of Directors. Slatter Management has limited authority as the Board of Directors are elected to be the decision makers for the community. The windows has been an ongoing challenge that the Board have been working on for over a year. The Board, via Slatter have kept the membership informed each time a new piece of information has been available to share. This has included community meetings. HOA fees are determined by the Board of Directors and are based upon the immediate and future needs of the community. The budget is set each year end and made available to the membership. Due the financial needs of the community, at times, maintenance may be slow to be addressed due to many factors: cash flow on hand future cash flow needs emergencies vendor quotes Slatter Management has nothing to gain by slowing a process or not reacting to maintenance needs. It is our role to maintain the buildings as quickly and as professionally as the process and finances permit. Carol will ensure your concerns are addressed and keep the Board of Directors informed of your issues for their direction.
