Called H&S Roofing Jan 4 2023 about leaks in *************** Sales rep came, did inspection, said would get back w/ proposal. Received Jan 16,. (23JS/01-146) Signed Jan 17th. Started Feb 6th and completed Feb 7th after workers returned to finish install w/ materials, told night before was missing. Noticed roofing nails and debris in screen porch & found rotten wood next to chimney. Asked someone to see how roofing nails getting in screen porch. 1st thing I got from H&S was a lie that NO WOOD WAS REPLACED in area. Went in attic, took pics of new wood nailed to rotted ************ H&S. Told me their contract workers lied to them. Then sent crew to fix issue. After an attempt and weeks of empty promises, they finally say they do not have the skill to fix issue, So I hired new contractor to fix structural issue at an add'l cost to me. Not happy but accepted & paid H&S 2nd invoice after correct price per ft of wood charged to me on original invoice found reviewing charges. Next rain Easter weekend, Came home, found water coming into porch area on new repairs paid to 2nd contractor. Went in attic & inspect, take pics, Found 2 new leaks in area other than original 2 leaks! Sent email w/ pics. 2nd crew a few days later.. 2nd crew removed original crew repairs. Tested, said he would go to office, work out resolution and did not hear back for over a week, Got phone call from engineer, stated he would get back to me. Now 2+ weeks since that call. As of 5/16, a quick hard rain and wind, into the attic to check the quality of work. Found another leak! Sent email w/pics, ask mgmt or owner of H&S to contact me ASAP! As usual, no response! H&S quality/ warranty? Is this how H&S treats customers by ignoring them? A company that says they have been in business since **** and web site says "Dependable,Affordable, and Honest Work" and they have an A+ Rating w/ the BBB?. The reason I chose H&S to do the job and because they were a local company and not some big nationwide corp.Business response

We have reached out to this customer and apologized for the lack of communication, that was an oversight on our part. We assured the customer that we (*****) are planning on correcting the wood issue next week and believe the customer will be satisfied.Customer response

I am rejecting this response because:
I will be happy to close the complaint as soon as someone from management verified that the quality of work done on my home is good enough quality that they would accept for their home. Four leaks on a brand new $12000 roof in less than five months just does not seem like the kind of quality they would expect for their home. All the time and months that this has cost me is just frustrating and could have been avoided with good communication and management supervision of the work that was done.
I have not heard anything from H&S roofing for over two weeks now.

*******************, one of our production managers did check the work, as stated in the customers previous response. The work was corrected under warranty. If any issue arises there is still a warranty on this work.
