Two men and a truck damaged 5 of our kitchen appliances, as well as, damage to our house. After going back and forth for almost 4 months to get the damages fixed they have now decided to not finish fixing our $3,000 brand new fridge. The side panels of our fridge have 10 plus dents. They claim it is not a functional part of the refrigerator, therefore they dont have to fix it. Our refrigerator is a standardized size fridge not counter depth and you can visibly see the damage. After continuously contacting the company for a resolution to fix the sides of our fridge they have refused. The manager of the store laughed at us on the phone and accused us of damaging our own refrigerator?! Not to mention we purchased full coverage insurance through the company before the move began that states it covers $16,000 worth of damage. This store needs to be shut down. It is sad that humans treat other humans this poorly.

Thank you for your comments. They seem to be blown a bit out of proportion to the actual events. The front panels have all been replaced as requested, even though a few did not ultimately appear to be the responsibility of the moving team. There are two small dimples on the lower right side of the refrigerator that are hardly noticeable and do not change the function of the appliance or diminish the value at all. We have offered an appearance allowance for this inconvenience that the customer has refused. We are glad to know that the front panels to the appliances were all replaced to the customer's mother's approval, who was their onsite representative. Thank you again.

For anyone in Fort Mill, SC who needs to move DO NOT USE 2 MEN AND A TRUCK, FORT MILL We had them do our move and they dropped our dresser unbeknownst to me (my husband saw the guy fall when they left the house but did not know what it was from) and when they delivered the dresser they unwrapped it and began to surround it with big boxes of bedroom items. They also hid boxes that said upstairs under other boxes so they would not. have to carry them upstairs. Many scuffs on our hallway but the worst is after 30 days I finally got to the boxes in bedroom, one drawer is stuck because of how hard they dropped the dresser, the roller on the inside of the drawer is underneath where it is to roll and cannot be moved and there is a huge crack on the side of my dresser. Now I have to hire someone to somehow get the drawer unstuck ( I tried everything) and repair the crack. The owner Tripp came out last week to move some boxes since his crew did not but now he will not even take a call because I was supposed to have this done in 96 hrs for them to take any responsibility for the dresser. They had no responsibility to tell me about dropping the dresser or as they unwrapped it, to show me the crack. This is an expensive bedroom set that is now worthless. The owner will not even speak with me he has his customer service girls take that responsibility. He will only email and said it was our responsibility, not his employees to find and complain within 4 days. Go with a reputable, responsible company. DO NOT USE 2 MEN AND A TRUCK.

Any claims for damage or loss must be reported within 96 hours according to the contract that is signed prior to the move. This customer contacted us about boxes being placed in the wrong room a couple of weeks after the move. We quickly sent a manager to move the boxes for her. Since the claim for damage to the dresser was reported more than a month after the move, it was denied.

Could not be more dissatisfied with Two Men & a Truck. Would not recommend, Way too may scratches, nicks, etc. on wood furniture. Mattress damaged and dirty by being slide onto a dirty truck floor with nothing underneath it. When the team leader was asked about the damages, his reply was "stuff happens". A long scratch was discovered on a brand new hardwood floor in our new home. My guess is it was caused by mishandling a bed rail. A closet door was pushed on so hard that the doorstop penetrated the back of the door. The leader ignored instructions on the estimate/contract, and multiple reminders from us, to remove the doors from a laundry room refrigerator. Instead he opened the doors of the refrigerator and tried to drag it sideways through the laundry room door resulting in significant damage to vinyl flooring. Vinyl flooring was also damaged in our new residence in the location of the washer and dryer. The refrigerator that was moved suffered a dent on the front and multiple dents on one side. One of the movers thoroughly wrapped wood pieces with blankets and plastic wrap. Those pieces suffered very little if any damage. However, we saw other wood pieces wrapped only in plastic without the top being completely covered and the legs not protected at all. Overall, the team leader was arrogant, showed little regard for our belongings and property, and little respect for us.
