I hired 2 men and a truck to move 2 refrigerators and both were damaged. I signed to purchase extra coverage for insurance but the company will not take my payment and one refrigerator we cannot come to a resolution. They are going to order a new door for the other one but will not communicate a time frame when this would be done. They left me with 2 refrigerators on the garage and none in the house. They have communicated what they would do to resolve and I told them that I was not satisfied with one of the solutions for the refrigerator. Their manager stated that that would be the last communication they would have with me

We have ordered the replacement parts as requested by the customer from our vendor for the newer of the two refrigerators and offered an appearance allowance for the older one. Parts take a while to get in to our vendor. The vendor will contact us as soon as the parts arrive so that we can set up a time to install.

I am accepting the replacement door on the one refrigerator but they have not communicated to me any time frame for this repair as I have requested. They left me without a refrigerator in the house and I think there should be some compensation for this inconvenience
I am rejecting this response because: the fridge that was dented they have only offered a minimal amount of $180.  This refrigerator if a $3,000. Refrigerator and had NO damage until their company moved it.   I dont think this is acceptable. I had signed to purchase additional insurance but since they had damage they have refused to accept my payment for this insurance.

Damage was done to my refrigerator during the move. I paid for insurance thru their company in case of any damage done to my belongings. We agreed to a settlement of $500. That was on 4/7/2023, since then I have attempted to contact them to determine the status of the claim and they will not respond.

A refund check of $500 has been mailed and cashed by the consumer.  We consider the matter resolved.

I had contacted them for a quote for a move. I was under the impression once discussed that it was confirmed. I called and they requested a deposit, not once did they state it was non refundable or that if there was a cancellation they would keep it. The next day (and over 48 hours before my move date) I had to cancel due to a closing situation. They cancelled my move but said nothing regarding my deposit even when I brought it up. I contacted corporate and was told someone would reach out to me locally. It's been 4 days with no communication from this "local" person. The deposit was charged and I see nothing about a reversal. I am extremely disappointed in this lack of communication and am requesting my money back as again it was never disclosed that it was a non refundable deposit.

Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2021/07/13) */ After further research, the customer did cancel outside of the 48 hour window. The deposit will be refunded. Consumer Response /* (2000, 7, 2021/07/13) */ (The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.) I appreciate the response and look forward to the credit reversal (refund) thank you.

On June 1, 2021 I contacted Two Men and a Truck for moving quote moving from Fort Mill, Sc to Hilton Head, SC including 1 stop at a storage facility in Hilton Head. The quote provided showed a team of 3 members would be able to complete this move in 9.75-11.75 hours with an estimated cost of $1529-$1817. I hired TM&T for my move and paid a deposit of $144 (their hourly rate) for a move on June 22nd. TM&T completed my move on June 22nd and wrote my end of service paperwork showing time on job was 10.75 hours. They took my credit card info and charged my card was $2130. On June 23, I spoke with Ryan A******* and explained that for 10.75 hours of work at $144 per hour, the $125 travel fee and $6 mattress bag should have been $1679, not $2130. I have called and emailed Ryan multiple times to discuss discrepancies and get this resolved, he is not longer responding to my emails or calls regarding overcharge of $595.

Business Response /* (1000, 11, 2021/07/16) */ Sorry foe the delay in response. The short answer is the difference is that the driver totaled the bill on the paperwork and forgot to include the drive time back to Fort Mill, as estimated. The loading and unloading took a little longer than anticipated so the bill naturally went up. We do not control the schedule of our vendors but we can certainly follow up with them. If this matter has already been addressed by the vendor, please let us know. Thank you.
