Every single time I have gone to this dealership I have had countless issues. Today I brought my car into the dealership for a simple tire rotation and oil change. I received a call stating my car was ready for pick up, after I got into the car there was a new light on the dashboard. I walked back inside, and let the service advisor know there was an issue. He brought the car back to the master tech and they could not figure out why the parking break would not engage. Then he said there wasnt time for them to test the switch. Then proceeded to allude that the part was malfunctioning and I could possibly need to replace the part. After we left we noticed it looked a lot like the parking brake was still in service mode. We then watched a 5 minute ******* video on how to fix the issue and resolved it in our driveway. The tech disengaged the parking break I guess for the inspection, and clearly did not know what he was doing Otherwise he wouldve been able to solve the issue in less then 30 seconds. Clearly the techs are not trained properly. I would never take my car here again, but I paid for a simple warranty when I bought the car here. I would not touch this place with a ten foot pole if I did not have a warranty. Would not recommend going unless you want to pay for something thats not even broken.Review from Kala M

TERRIBLE PLACE TO DO BUSINESS WITH. I purchased a 2018 ***** Accord Sport from Hendricks ***** of ****** in 2021. They provided and completed all my oil changes with the last one being Oct.2023. I took my vehicle into ******* to have an oil change Feb. 2024 and was advised that my oil looked as if it had never been changed. They showed me how dark and hard the oil was and that it could eventually ruin my engine. Being that Hendricks ***** had supposedly been completing my oil changes, I reached out to them Feb.9th never received a call back from anyone, until I called back multiple times and spoke with someone on Feb.13th. They gave me an afternoon appt for that Friday Feb.16th. I took my car back to Hendricks ***** where I was told my service manager **** that he would need the vehicle early one morning to be able to properly check the car. No one even walked to my car that particular day. After I drove 45mins, I was told to bring it back Sunday evening leave it overnight and they would check it Monday morning. After not hearing from the dealership at all Monday I gave them a call on Tuesday, only to be told my car that has ******* miles on it had a blown head gasket and because it was out of warranty, given a quote to pay $3000 to have it repaired. I asked how that was possible, and they told me normal wear and tear! I have owned multiple ***** vehicles, currently own a 2012 Accord that has ******* miles and has never had any head gasket issues or anything else major. I reached out to ***** corporation after calling a couple mechanics to get a 2nd opinion and was informed by many people that my model 2018 ***** Accord is known for this issue and that it is obviously a default of the car. ***** corporation refused to help and basically told me that it may be a default of the car but since no recall had been issued I have to pay the $3000 and that if in the future a recall is issued I would be reimbursed.! And the only concern of Hendricks has been getting paid!Review from Larry H

One of the worst experiences of my 67 years! Service **** kept us in the dark for 5 days because of a loose wire on my starter! They charged us for a $300 battery, the old battery was only 1.5 years old, they charged us for a $650 starter that I didnt need and zero communication unless I initiated it! Try to find a hotel room in ****** ** on a holiday weekend when you dont find out until 5 pm everyday that your car was not even looked at that day! Just an absolutely horrible experience and Im pretty sure the service manager had no idea I was a mech engineer for 38 years and Im pretty sure I have forgotten more about cars than he will ever know but that didnt not stop him from trying to string us along, FOR 5 DAYS!Review from Rhoda S

The end of January we were driving out of town when our brakes started making a scraping on metal sound. We stopped by the Jeep dealership since it was close by and we had recently had both the front and back brakes repaired there in April. We were told to make an appointment and could not be seen for three weeks. They wouldn't take the time to listen to the Jeep. All three dealerships in the ********** area had a three week backup. We needed the car, so I checked the BBB website for somewhere to get an appointment, Midas on ********************************************** was an approved provider so we checked with them and had an appointment the next day. They did a 55 point brake inspection. We had to have both the front and back rotors and brake pads replaced. Since we had the rear rotor and brake pads replaced April 7, 2023 and *********************** front rotors & brake pads on April 21, 2023, I called **** Hendrick Dodge/Jeep manager and explained my questions about these services since brake pads don't wear out in 9 months. I did tell him I was reporting to BBB. He checked the service records on file and asked that I not register my complaint yet. He indicated he would be back in touch. That was Feb. 1st and it is now Feb. 21st and i have not heard from him. We had ******* mile maintenance service in 4/7 along with the brakes ($1654) and on 4/21 front brakes ($314). I still don't know what I paid them for, but I had to pay over $1500 to have it done again. And this includes a Midas Warranty.Review from Larry H

Broke down in the middle of no where, had my GMC towing to what we thought was a reputable ***** dealer and have spent 5 days getting strung along waiting to get it back. The service **** will told me I had a bad battery, it was slightly over a year old, $300 for a $135 battery, they told us the starter was good, now we need a $650 starter that cost $350 and worst of all was trying to get any information from them! DO NOT USE this dealer unless you want to taken advantage of!Review from Danielle R

Their service department rep ********* communicated threats to me saying they know where I work. Nobody has called me to address the threats. They refused to stand by their work. They messed up my vehicle and installed bad aftermarket parts without my knowledge. They tried to get me to give them more money for their negligence. Had to go to another dealership to take care of my concerns.Review from Orphelia S

I would NEVER recommend thus dealership to ANYONE! we contacted them about a vehicle in a certain price range that we wanted, we arrived and they informed us they had another vehicle that met our desires as well as price range, we liked the second vehicle more and when presented with the price it was 4k more than the vehicle we initially called about and the sales person continued to say it was within the same price range, we hesitantly continued the sale and we decided to not leave with the vehicle the same day (BEST DECISION EVER IF YOU ARE UNSURE!!! You will be able to cancel the contract if you do not drive off the lot!) We went home did more research on the vehicle to find out the vehicle on THEIR website was listed on sale (sale price was NEVER offered to us!) On cars.com vehicle was advertised for 3k less than what they sold it to us for and told us they could not budget on the price but to take off $700, we were absolutely appalled and felt taken advantage of! We emailed them about our grievances, I was then contacted by the sales manager who ultimately wanted to tell that there was an issue with the website and they could not honor the price even though it was the same vehicle and same Vin number being advertised! Then told me that was not false advertisement!! We told them to then cancel our contract and we will find another car elsewhere, These people are crooks! Do your research first and don't leave with the car if you are not comfortable with the sale!!!!Review from William D

I bought my 2019 Camaro ZL1 from these guys in September as an out of state customer from a ******* suburb. We agreed to a number and a term(72) over the phone, submitted my credit and I was approved. I told them about my predicament and that I will be there 8AM on Wednesday and need to be IN AND OUT to make the 14 hour drive home for my work the next morning at 9AM and they told me no problem and that all my paperwork would be done and the car would be ready. When I get there when they open, my sales person was not there, the car was FILTHY and had 20 miles till empty. Took a while to appoint a different sales person and we didn't end up leaving the dealer until after 12. I made the mistake of trusting the dealership and ******* through signing since I needed to be out of there 3 hours ago. Fast forward a month later and I see they upped me from a 72 month to a ********************************* an extra 3K over the course of my loan. I was upset but it was my mistake to trust them, so I left them a 1 star ****** review and left it at that. Now into February, my moonroof breaks (something covered under bumper to bumper). I have TEXT MESSAGES saying my car has 10year100k powertrain and 12mo12k tech (bumper to bumper), I call my sales person and he is clueless, I call the service department he tells me my car has 0 warranty at all (I did not buy extended warranty because I was told this car CAME with this). To repair my moonroof will cost anywhere from 1200-1600, so I call the *** of the store to tell him about all of my bad experiences with this dealer and now lying about warranty and that they should cover AT LEAST my moonroof cost and he basically tells me to kick rocks. Running a business like this is ridiculous and you would expect somewhere as large as this to hold a little accountability, especially when they made as much money off you as they did (extra 3k in financing and not to mention marking my car up 20K from what they gave me as trade in value)Review from Victor E

The sales person and I agreed on a price. Which was $12,850 with all fees applied. I request to get the LoJack removed and then they dropped the LoJack cost to $405 and said they will do half price on it. I still declined the LoJack. So we were firm now on the price of $12,850.They decided to play the waiting game, and i even informed my relative. They were making us wait so we become impatient and just sign away with what they say. And also they would raise up the price again. And comes to find out, i was right all along. So after waiting 1:30hour we finally go sit down with the financial manager and this is were it gets fun.I already knew what they did and planned to do and i wanted to see how far they would play this trick. When we sat down to start signing i noticed they added more charges on top and changed the car price. Which i mentioned but the financial manager just brushed it off and then focused on the electronic insurance and hard focused to make sure we got it because we need it. Tried multiple times to tell him we dont need and he insisted we needed it. Spathetic to even twist a clients arm and push for something they dont want. I even told him i dont want it 4x times. Extremely unprofessional.I then asked what is this $405 maintenance fee? And he says is for the car warranty to get service here. Which is funny because that same number was the price of the LoJack they tried to sell me. And when i talked with my sales person we agreed on $12,850 out the door all fees included and now im signing a contract thats about $14,700 or so. Because the financial manager is greedy and wants to take home a nice pay check so he can go to MiamiI personally dont care for the $$$ i got con out of. But I do want to warn the citizens of ************* to avoid coming to **** HendrickReview from April R

This review is for ***** Cars of McKinney, TX My car was totalled in August.Beginning in October, I started trying to get the almost $1000 owed to me for the extended warranty I purchased. ***** Financial told me that I would need to go through the McKinney location to initiate and then they would send me a check. After 4 voice-mails left for ******, 2 in person trips, and a couple of emails, ****** had me come sign a paper on November 17. He was much too busy to see me in person but told me through email that he would take care of it.Today is February 2 and I still have not received a check and ****** did not respond to my email asking if he sent in the paper I signed.I called ***** Financial (they were helpful) and they have nothing on file and gave me the phone number for Hendrick Autoguard.I spoke with ******* (he was also nice and so far seems helpful). ******* confirmed that ****** has not sent in anything so that I may receive the $983 that is owed to me. It is beyond my understanding why ****** or his assistant, representative or whatever cannot email my paperwork. At this point, I have spent hours on the phone, emailing and in person trying to get my money. I will never buy from ***** Cars of McKinney because they obviously don't care about their customers. What should have been an easy process has turned into unnecessary nonsense.
