Epic has a few faults, but when down the line push comes to shove, they handled my issue extremely quickly. As a few others have said here, they did not believe i was who i am. Honestly this is KIND of a good thing. No one would want it to be easy to be hacked into. Aside from needing to impliment a better verification system, my issue has been handled relatively quickly. Once Epic contacted me after my report to the BBB, we communicated with each other and came to the mutual understanding. I have had my account returned to me in full, they were extremely quick once their decision to return my account was made, took maybe ********************************************************************************* the end i am satisfied with the return of my account.(Specially since i had invested over $4k worth of fortnite skins). Even my Creator code is still there, although inactive. Unfortunately i'm going to have to re-apply after getting another 1k followers, but this is a great start. I'll give 3 stars because of the initial time it took. Plus they need better verification. Other than that i am satisfied. Oh and please get rid of the hackers on rocket league. We cannot report them in game because they kick us offline and clear our recently met list.Review from Trishul M

You can never convince the support people about your issues. They decide what they do. My account was hacked and primary email was changed. I lost access to a good amount of games that I had collected over the years. Even after providing evidence of games receipts, they keep repeating the same story that they have reviewed and according to them am not the owner of my account! Do NOT spend your hard earned money on these unprofessional folks. Their support is unbelievable and run by a bunch of untrained third world folks. Whatever little power they have, they like to bask in that. I repeat - do NOT spend a single dime on these clowns. Stick to Steam, EA or the other platforms. They are infinitely better and actually listen to their customers.Review from Lotif R

After contacting epic games support i was directed to ************ customer support, where i was harassed repeatedly and locked out of my gaming account by a ************ ****** based support company employee. The employee "******" send me more than a dozen emails, in these emails the employee sent multiple belittling emails then threatened to block my game account, and finally blocked my accountReview from zach t

Wow! Came here expecting to see some good reviews, this company's customer support has to be one of the most god awful system ever made, no live chat, no phone number to call, just stupid e-mail responses that they'll close before you can even voice your concerns.They have not helped me one bit, I have a VERY large amount of proof that I never cheated int heir game, and yet they ban me, and they are so cucked by their god awful anti cheat that they won't even do manual account overviews. Literally one of the WORST companies out there.Stay clear away from them, and don't give them any money.Review from Chelsea M

I am new to Epic, I've only had an account for a few months, but I got hooked on the game Fortnite. I played religiously, paid extra for in game benefits, and worked hard to complete all achievements and quests. I loved it. However, suddenly while I was playing I was booted from the game and a notice popped up saying my account was banned for 24 hours due to "exploiting". I was really confused and had to look up what it was referencing and realized that this was a mistake. I did my due diligence and got a hold of Epic Games Support to get the issue rectified. I spoke to 2 different agents that kept copy and pasting the same messages to me and telling me they "wanted to, but couldn't help me". I asked them to escalate the ticket for me so that I could speak to a manager. Now, presumably they did, although there was no indication that I was indeed escalated to a different person. However, in the emails following the "escalation" I was informed that my ban was the result of supposedly utilizing "cheat software". Again, I knew this to be a mistake because that just wasn't true. I asked for additional information or avenues I could take to submit proof that this was in fact a mistake. I asked if there was anyone else I needed to speak with instead, I tried anything I could think of to get this rectified. However, through talking to them I was told again and again that they could not provide me with any information but that they "did not make a mistake" and would do nothing to help or look into it further. They did tell me however that not only was this now a permanent ban, but that it did not apply only to my account but to my entire device. They compromised my brand new laptop and will not allow it to play Fortnite on any account. At this point I asked for a refund of the money spent since I was wrongfully banned and they refused to rectify it. They then stopped responding to me all together but kept the ticket open to prevent me from submitting a new one.Review from Alex A

I got falsely banned on Fortnite, have never cheated or exploited in the game, but was still banned. Have tried to contact support on multiple occasions, but they are no help. Their customer support is the worst I have ever experienced. Ive never seen a more unorganized, unhelpful, and dishonest company in my life when it came to games. As for this company epic games I despise them, hate them, and hope someone sues them for all they are worth. Leaving 1 star because I can't leave 0.Review from Josh C

Where do I begin...? I submitted support tickets to speak with a representative who could help me recover lost cosmetic items that I had spent money on. For some reason, all of the items I spent time grinding out on the Battle Pass and purchasing in-store just randomly disappeared after a couple of years of taking a break from the game. I followed their instructions, verified my email, provided them with email documentation of my account creation, receipts for purchases on the ********* Store, name, emails, addresses, payment card numbers and name of banks used, location of purchases, EVERYTHING! Any normal company that is similarly attempting to help recover accounts wouldn't ask for even half of all the things they listed. However, I provided it all anyway so they could help me get my lost items back on my six-year-old account. But for what? For nothing. They refused service and kept repeating that there are "security discrepancies" and could not verify my account ownership despite sending receipts and emails and the rest of the slew of information I sent them. What is incredibly frustrating is they do nothing else but keep parroting that line and provide no further explanation of what these particular discrepancies are and how I can remedy them. They outright REFUSE SERVICE. Essentially, they gave me one try at remembering all the information of a video game account created six years ago and will no longer assist me. Like is this a joke? This is the worst customer service I have ever seen in my life. It feels like theft. I've been through God knows how many representatives that change each time I send a response and they keep dodging my questions and demands for refunds and to speak with a manager. It's absolutely disgusting how they conduct business and only care about money rather than actually helping their customer base. Shameful business practices... DO NOT SPEND ANY MONEY WITH THIS COMPANY BECAUSE IF SOMETHING HAPPENS, THEY WILL NOT HELP YOU.Review from Erik N

1) Epic Games refused to allow 2-factor authentication for a long time 2) Consequently my account was hacked into (circa 2021) and the attacker changed the email address on file 3) Epic Games allowed the attacker to change the email address on my Epic Games account despite the attacker not having control my original email address... it's insane that the company would do this...4) Recently (****) I submitted a support request to restore control of my account to the original email address. I filled out the correct form, which requires you to prove that you control the original email address 5) Epic Games nevertheless refused to restore control of my account back to the original email addressReview from Jeremi C

They owe me two skins they never gave me. Plus, they took money from me and didn't give me my product. They literally stole from me.
