Asheville Citizen-Times is not delivering my paper on a regular basis. We have paid for the year and last week we did not get a paper for 3 days. Today we don't have a paper. Our neighbor is also not getting her paper. We have paid a year in advance and this delivery problem is ongoing. When we call the paper they just say we are sorry and we will credit your account. We don't want a credit constantly....we want and we paid for the paper to be delivered.Review from Pierre N

As a digital subscriber of ACT, Ive had issues with ACT's ************* They have tried & continue to bill me on a closed credit card. I dont understand why ACT & **** tries to bill me from an old subscription i had. In October 2022 Ive called, sent ************* chatted to both companies to straighten this out to no luck. I dont know what else to do. How can a credit card company accept a charge on a closed card & account.Review from val s

The Asheville Citizen Times digital subscription provides only 1 or 2 new stories a day. No letters to the editor, comics, special features or stories available in the print editions. I had paid six months in advance and the customer service department says they will not refund the remainder of my subscription. It's a worthless newspaper with horrible customer service policies.Review from Jan E

Since there hasn't been a review since last year, I just wanted to update to say that the delivery issues with the paper and the issues with no action from the very nice 800 number customer service agents hasn't changed. All issues below remain.Review from Paul D

Same deal as the other folks can't seem to get my paper delivered and when delivered it could be two houses up the street or down the street. **************** is useless all they do is say they will give you credit, in which they do, but if you cant get the paper delivered in a consistent what good is credit.Review from Robert F

We have had a terrible time with the delivery of the Asheville Citizen Times for the past couple of years. We like working the puzzles and reading the PAPER. That's what they supposedly offer and take our money for, though I know it's also available online. Because it was sporadic, we were naive in renewing our subscription. Calling customer service gets a promise of "credit" on the next renewal. What good does that do if you still don't receive it? We are not getting it at all now. I hear from other people in the area experiencing the same issue. Now the bill states that we will be charged $5 more if we don't sign up for automatic payments. Ha! I don't believe a "business" like this could be more of a ripoff if it was a legitimate criminal enterprise.Review from C Jeff A

Do not subscribe to the Asheville Citizen Times and expect delivery of what you pay for! We have had ongoing delivery issues for years that have been reported to their call center as well as to their local Distribution Manager and Editor. Monies are consistently drafted out of our account but the newspaper delivery is inconsistent. Scheduled re-delivery never happens and credits are never received. How the AC-T earns a BBB rating of A+ when their customer services is so horrible as is evident by reviews posted here tells us the BBB system is broken. We request an immediate cancellation of our subscription and will obtain our news from other sources. We tried to give 0 stars for the AC-T but the BBB system won't allow it!Review from Dennis J

We are having a terrible problem getting the "Asheville Citizen" newspaper delivered to my home. Their delivery is horrific and a nightmare. The delivery is sporadic at best. This has been a problem for the last six months or more. It does no good to call their "Customer No-Service". They tell you the delivery issue will be resolved. The carrier NEVER calls you back. I don't want to read the newspaper on the computer. I have repeatedly contacted customer service at the Asheville Citizen Times about lack of newspaper delivery. I have asked for a response from someone in management but have never gotten a response. I will cancel subscription.
