            Called to check on procedure to have custom compression stockings made they told me I needed prescription from my doctor he sent one they called me on Friday left message about scheduling appointment now on Monday they say due to insurance approval problems that they are not longer doing custom stocking I offered to pay cash they turned me down don't see how policy changed from Friday afternoon to Monday afternoon I'm having 2 surgeries and need these stocking due to recovery time they asked if I had swelling in my legs i said no she puts me on phone with ******* didn't know the answer to the initial question so I guess I lose I think they made an assumption that my insurance wasn't going to pay so they didn't want to fool with me even though I was willing to pay cash and stated that to them, so sad this is how they treat patients ??!

            Ms. ** I am sorry that you are having issues getting the custom garments that you need. Your prescription that we received from your doctor reads as follows:"thigh high compression stocking ***** mmhg two pairs"The order does not indicate custom made garments. When you informed us over the phone on Monday that they would be custom. We explained that due to the change in ********** policy we only provide off the shelf style garments. We do not provide the custom garments. You said you would pay cash. But unfortunately this would violate our ********** contract. We as a company want to provide custom garments to all WNC patients, and see a huge need for them. We are in constant talks with ********** on this issue, and hope they decide to change this policy issue. Unfortunately I do not see this getting resolved soon.
