Beware of purchasing home from this company. The homes are beautiful, but they cut corners in their building process, and drag their feet with home warranty repairs until your warranty expires and the repairs are never made. The dollar sign is all that matters to them, and they are a very shady company. I paid over asking price for a new build in *********. When I was trying to negotiate the sale, the new paint job had a massive amount of scuff marks all over the inside of the home, and **** the owner of Jag construction would not negotiate a small discount in the sale for me to hire a painter. Instead he said he would have his guy come do it. His painter did a terrible job leaving most of the scuff marks there, and when ***** was told this, he said no his painter did a great job and refused to address it. So my realtor and and I had to ****** with tape and photograph everything again to finally pressure ***** to repaint. A month or so after I moved into my home my ********* friend drove by and saw that *** had left behind a board screwed into my roof. If he hadn't noticed this I would have ended up dealing with extreme internal water damage and costly repairs. **** the owner of jag was barely apologetic when I called him to get it removed. There were so many things that were finished poorly or not working at all. Many of my window latches weren't installed correctly and fell out when I tried to latch them. There is a hole next to one of the ceiling lamps that is still there. A huge dead tree was left in my yard for me to later discover and have to pay someone to remove. My neighbor told me he had asked ***** to remove it and was ignored. My other neighbor said **** had been very rude to her as well during construction when she tried to address him going over their property line with yard work. They dragged their feet with my warranty repairs for 6 months and now they are claiming my warranty is up and they won't be following through on said repairs.

Nucia, Im sorry you have such strong feelings about your experience. We built a beautiful home. You purchased it at a time when people were paying over asking price for homes. We provided you with the same level of follow up and service that we would provide any customer, regardless of what they paid for the home. Our company has a strong reputation for quality and Reliability. I believe that we have given you these things in your home. *** learned through almost 2 decades in this business that sometimes you cannot meet every individuals expectations, and I believe you have expectations that are unmeetable. JAG has sold many homes of similar quality to yours to happy customers again and again. In fact, your house was somewhat of a pet project for me, the owner. I was more involved in your house than most, and I gave it my own personal touch and attention. Im proud of the house that we built, and saddened that you think somehow our product or process was shady. We visited your home for warranty items around the time that the warranty would expire. We addressed items that were covered under the warranty. You had many other items that would not be considered warranty items. You signed a warranty disclosure when you purchased the house defining what warrantable items are. Having bugs in your garage is not a warranty item, thats just a typical homeowner responsibility to clean up. Hairline cracks in concrete floors is typical, and not a warranty item. We often return to homes long after the warranty is expired in order to address issues or problems due to defects. We stand by our work 100%. if you had items that were truly defective, we would be happy to address them for you.As far as the board on the roof is concerned: it was left by the roofer in an area that was very hard to see. We removed it as soon as we will found out about it. Also, it was applied in a way that would not cause any roof damage, hence why we were able to remove it without causing any damage.Concerning the tree in the front yard: this was literally the only tree on the property. It was alive and well when you purchased the home, Im sure you wouldve noticed a giant dead tree in the month of inspections before you purchased the home. I intentionally left that tree there, because I felt that it added protection from vehicles who might, lose control coming around that fast curve. A neighbor actually told me about when a car lost control and ended ** in the yard of your home. I felt at the tree added safety to the property.Again, I firmly believe we built a quality product for you. Ill personally review your warranty items again to see if we missed anything.
