On June 6th, I received a bill from Culligan for the amount of $5.00. This was classified as a ************** Services were performed on 04/25/23 and I paid the bill that same day on my credit card. The card was charged according to their bill on 05/01/23 for the amount of $188.00. There was never a notice of a fuel charge at anytime in the process. In fact, the receptionist that scheduled my service scheduled me on a specific day when the driver was in ******** servicing other locations near bye. Please notice that the line item for the "Fuel Surcharge" is not dated.This is a deceptive practice and I am sure I am not the only customer impacted. I also believe this is illegal.I am asking for an immediate billing adjustment, an apology from ownership and a review of all customers serviced during this time period for this same fraudulent act.Respectfully,****************************** P.S. ****************** also filed a complaint with the ****** of ******** Protection. I responded to ****************** that very day. I told him we service over **** customers and we have no way of letting each and everyone of them that there would be a fuel surcharge. He didn't pay the fuel surcharge and we took it off his account. The fuel surcharge does appear on the invoice he was given at the time of service. Again, he paid for the service, but he did not pay the surcharge. When I responded to the letter sent from the ****** of consumer protection, I attached the invoice, with the amount he paid. I'm not sure what he thinks he should be compensated for. He didn't pay it and it is not worth our time to pursuing it. He is the only customer that has complained about this charge. In the past, when we have implemented a fuel sur charge, when the price of fuel goes down, it is easy to remove. Many days our trucks travel over 100 miles to do 6 or 8 calls. We schedule as many calls as we can in an area to make it economical. We have a business to run, employees to pay and astronomical fuel bills. ***************************
