Rental Professionals withheld $189.80 from my security deposit for the final water and utilities bill. These services were paid for on 10/27/2023 via a cc thru their online payment system. I requested a refund by phone and email for the overpayment, but have receieved no follow-up response to date. I am getting concerned after reading their ****** profile that they might not return the overpayment to us.Business response

Our office did withhold the amount of $189.80 from the security deposit for final utilities upon moving out of the tenants rental. Unfortunately, a payment for the utilities was made after we had already withheld the amount for the final utilities, and certified mailed the security deposit check and disposition. The payment was made the following day after the disposition was mailed out to the tenant's forwarding address provided.
******************* spoke to a representative about the overpayment on the phone. A message was passed along to our bookkeeper to refund the overpayment made after the security deposit disposition had been made. We are a busy office, and unfortunately are unable to do things as quickly as ******************** would like. We do have many moving parts and try to accomplish all of our duties in order of when we receive them. Mr. ********* overpayment refund has already been mailed certified last week and shows that it should be received by end of business today.
We hope that this helps resolve ******************************** concerns and appreciate his patience.
***** and ****** were great tenants and we wish all the best for them in their futures.

Move in Date Sept 3, 2021. The house was so dirty and full of bugs that I couldnt move in until Sept 6th. Spent 3 days cleaning and Rental Professionals would not do anything. I gave them pictures of everything and still nothing.I gave them 60 day notification that I am moving out. They kept 100% of my deposit and they are telling me I have to pay for 2 more months plus cleaning fees. They had another family move in and they are trying to double dip and take my money and their money. I spent $600 on professional cleaning the house when moved out. They sent pictures of the house that were 9 months old and said it was dirty. They lied about numerous things. I called and emailed them numerous times. I have pictures, emails, statements, that prove they are lying and stealing money. They refused to return any of my communications. They are the most unethical company I have ever dealt with in my life. They kept my $3000 deposit and say I owe another $5800 and instead of dealing with the facts and truth, they turned it over to a collection agency. Rental Professionals are the scum of *******, ** and the entire city knows it. Its a shame they are allowed to keep treating people this way.
