9/01/21 -Approached by owner *****-He showed me 06 ****** Pathfinder-The 1st thing he showed me was how good the ** worked-He exclaimed it's a "Good running car"-took me to back of car & showed me the 3rd row seating while he held up the hatchback-He voiced "this would be a great car for me!"-I test drove car-I bought the car in good faith upon his word-AFTER SINGING-***** gave me a 2nd set of keys and told me he wasn't sure if they worked(they did not)He told me he had done work on the car including the ** and replacing some sensors-The heater didn't work-The hatch was broken-The car wouldn't start-I called *****-He said to unhook battery to reset-This didn't work, it was towed, ending up at ****** where work continues to accrue-He will not work with me stating "I have more lawyers&money then you saying I signed 4 papers AS-IS-His hostile behavior/words were very intimidating and unprofessional!-No interaction has taken place since his threats-I am not his only victim-please help me!Business response

The customer had the vehice inspected two seperate times by two seperate shops. The car was only $6400 and 16 years old with 156k plus miles. She never once told me what the issue was, she just demanded money. Then at one point I was left a voice mail by " a freind" that was full of threats and ****** languge. I WAS THE ONE THREATEND with lawyers!!! When that was brought up in our conversation I was telling her about the person " the Freind" That called me. All of our vehicles are sold "AS IS" There is 4 forms that are signed at the time of purchase making the customer fully aware of this. There is a million lies that are being told in this complaint and alot of the truth that is being left out. I still have the voice mail on my phone if the BBB would like to hear it. The complaint came 3-4 weeks after purchase, phone records can prove this. This complaint should be dropped 100%. Unfortunatly these are used cars, $6400 16 year old used cars, NOT brand new or $30,000 3 year old vehicles. AS IS means AS IS. I truly believe this person should hold the shops that inspected the vehicle prior to purchase accountable and file the complaint against them, NOT ME!!
