  Within a Year of insulation we are having issues with our roof. We contacted the business and he claimed hail damage. We then contacted insurance to file and they denied any hail damaged but however found faulty workmanship, installation and product usage as well as inadequate drainage among other issues.We were mislead on the product and workmanship of the roof. When we contacted the contractor of issues he was unwilling to stand behind his installation and the job he did and warranty the work. He refused to fix the main issue at hand and currently has not addressed any issues.He also refuses to provide any information for his insurance agency for us to file a claim since our insurance denied what he is saying is the issue, hail damage.

   This is the biggest shake down, I have ever seen, the roof is in perfect condition, working exactly like it is supposed to, it is  completely flat roof that all fat roofs hold water, the 6 drains on the roof that was daming up and leaking all over inside the building, they insisted that we canceled out the drains to fix the leaks, I explain to them canceling out the drains is the only way to stop the leaks, but theyre going to be a issue of water at that time all they were concerned about was fixing the leaks, We contracted them to install a spray polyurethane Foam Roof system on their existing gravel Flat Roof, Wrote them a contract on removing the gravel three tandem trailers full, canceling out the drains with sheet metal plates, apply a Foam Roof system totally seamless 100% waterproof to their existing flat roof surface a sample with provide when explaining and showing them what the roof in the product and the material was going to look like its a flat Foam Roof sprayed on , we are not building up or constructing a pitch we were strictly foaming the existing  roof to stop the leaks,  We fulfilled our contract stopped all the leaks  give them a leak free warranty the roof is not leaking its working like it Its supposed to , looks perfect, as I inspected the roof I clearly noticed they were hail damage on the roof that does void the warranty , I  referred them to go to their insurance company and let me help get the roof fixed they did not agree to that, They called their insurance telling him that I was trying to get out of the warranty that it had not hailed in the area, which is not true , 2 separate hail storms went though the area in 2021 , I offered to make a agreement and do what ever they want-to satisfied them, they want there money back is the only way, they say, they will be satisfied, why should they get a new Roof and all there money back, I am out thousand of dollars on it , and 5 or 6 days labor , the material is made for flat roofs, there complaint makes no sense, It is a case of buyers remorse, and they think they can shake me down for their money back, please some body contact me back to help me with this problem , Thank you *************************** Sun Flex Home Improvements,LLC

  Dear Sunflex Home Improvements,
  This letter is regarding the recent roof replacement on our business last July 10th 2020.  Soon after the roof was replaced, we were notified by the city of ****** that there was a potential issue with a substantial amount of water pooling on the newly replaced roof.  ****** was notified, came and looked at the roof, and assured us that it would not be a problem.    
  
  In July 2021 we were again informed that there was a substantial amount of water on the roof.  In this professional persons opinion due to the extreme freezing and thawing conditions found in Montana, this would indeed be an issue in the future.  ****** again was called and came to inspect the roof along with his brother ****** on July 3rd, 2021.  We asked that the roof be repaired in a way that would prevent the extreme pooling as well as the areas that are bubbling be taken care off.  ****** was in disagreement with us about the impending issues ahead. ****** recommended we file an insurance claim, as he believed there to be hail damage on the roof. 
  
  
  On August 11, 2021 the roof was inspected by our companys insurance adjuster.  On August 12, we received a copy of the claim report and notice that the claim for hail damage was denied.  However, in the report referring to our roof it was stated, this was a faulty and inadequate / and or defective design, workmanship, repair and/or construction, renovation, remodeling; faulty, inadequate and/or defective materials used in repair, construction, renovation, or remodeling.  ****** was then again contacted August 12, 2021 and made aware that the insurance hail claim was denied for hail damage.  He was also made aware of the findings of the report, and sent the claim report. 
  
  
  We were advised to contact Sunflex Home Improvements insurance carrier and proceed in asking them to file a claim for said findings.  ****** was asked to provide his insurance information, however, refused to do so.
  
  Two additional professional inspections were done and both found even more defective and inadequate workmanship had been performed.  One of which professional stated that the roof needed to be replaced with another form of material.  Simply, that this foam membrane would not be adequate for the building and inevitably lead to costly damage in the future.
  
  
  It is unfortunate for all parties involved that this situation has occurred.  We would like to again formally request the insurance information of Sunflex Home Improvements, it is their obligation to provide this information.  We are in contact with our lawyer about the situation, however, it would be very much appreciated if we can come to an agreement before legal action is taken.

  The work was approved and excepted by the customers a written contract was provided with a sample of the materials, Materials are made for a flat roof surface, The inspections provided in the complaint its not by  spray foam roof experts, The roof is working exactly like it was meant to fix Leaks and insulate building , make Surface of roof water tight, The were explained Pondering Water will occur dew to canceling out leaking drains, and was agreed and approved by 3 people representing the customers, the Contract was fulfilled, And done to satisfaction of 3 people representing customers, Upon completion of work and before payment was made, now that all the leaks are fixed, Life expectancy of roof with proper maintenance is 30 years, The Roof Is Preforming Exactly the way it is designed too, Due To minor hail damage, The Roof Should Be *************** Coated, To Re -Instate Warranty, And Should be Covered under customers insurance.
