Josh Neal Restoration contacted me in reference to a house fire, that my family had sustained. Mr **** informed me that he was a contractor that could have me back in my house in 6months. Mr. **** recieved $79k usd on march 3rd 2022. it is now September 2022 and the only thing he has done was the demo and 9k worth of plumbing. He has since been removed from the project because he couldn't pull a permit to perform the work as well as used a friends license to pull the permit. Come to find out Josh Neal Restorations is only a roofing company acting (frauding) to be a general contractor. I am requesting at least 40K usd of the funds received by Josh neal back.

In March 2022, **** **** was hired to replace my roof and never pulled the permit to complete the job. First and foremost he misrepresented himself and said he was a licensed, bonded and insured general contractor. I later found out he is only a roofing contractor and I have yet to find a bond for him. In addition to messing up my roof ****. **** was very threatening towards me and threatened to place a lien on my property. The city inspector found out **** never pulled the permit and charged him an additional fee to pull the permit after the job was done. My roof is a complete mess and since **** and his employees did not use the correct products my roof warranty is in jeopardy. There are holes in my ceiling, They bent several of my gutters, the boards are laying against the hot water heater pipe which is a fire hazard and there are clips missing from the boards under the shingles. In addition they flooded my guest bathroom with wet shingle bundles. Due to **** threatening nature he is not allowed to return to my property. Therefore , I am requesting a refund so I can hire a legitimate roofer to fix my roof. There are several homeowners in the neighborhood have have had similar if not the same problems with this business. The only reason I used **** for the job is because of a referral from 1 of the neighbors not knowing there were several other homeowners who would have not recommended him. I am in receipt of addition hard copies photos if needed

Josh Neal Roofing contacted me concerning about replacing a roof on my home. Josh Neal Roofing wanted $8100.00 dollars for the job. we refused that amount and told them we would only pay what Farm Bureau Insurance offered. We had other bids on the job which were lower than the price Neal was requesting. Neal was also informed by our Insurance Agent, **** ***** and Insurance Adjuster, ***** *** that those prices were too high for this area and informed us not to agree to that price. We followed the advice of our Insurance Agent and did not agree to the price Neal requested. Neal knew what the price would be before he started the work and now he is using Gestapo tactics to stronghold us now that the roof is complete.

      *****,

Both myself and ***** my sales rep came to your house on the first day you and I met to look at the roof and to give you the price. At that time we submitted our estimate to you and you responded that we needed to breakdown everything down into further detail which we did. We both agreed on the price before starting the job. If you had cheaper bids at that time then why did you decide to go with us if our estimate was more expensive? You as a homeowner are responsible for the deductible which is paid to the contractor directly. It’s illegal for you not to the pay deductible. There will be no negotiations on our price, we stand firm at our original price and we would appreciate prompt payment. Thanks.
