If I could give 0 stars, I would. If you are looking for a business that will give you an install date and then leave it up to you to reach out to them for an update 2 days after the initial given install date to only get the run around for 1.5 weeks before given a definitive answer on when install will actually be, then this is the company for you. If you would like a company that shows up on install day with no survey completed and all the wrong measurements and then relies on you to give them the measurements that you paid them to get, then this is the company for you. If you are looking for a company that will leave scrap metal and debris from install in your yard for you to clean up, then this is the company for you. I paid $7000 to have a perfect fence installed and that is not what I received. However, at this point I am unwilling to deal with this company any further as it has only caused me ample amounts frustration thus far. I could have installed the fence myself for the quality of job that was done. Would not recommend this company to ANYONE. My lesson was learned.Review from MLK

Tri-County Fence and Deck is horrible and deserves zero stars! We picked TCF because they were middle priced, local, and promised to have the fence installed in 6 weeks when everyone else said **** weeks. It took them 9 weeks. They installed our fence on August 16th and put the fence in the wrong spot. We were on vacation at the time the fence was installed and had tried to push to have the fence installed when we returned. We were told by ******* that everything would be just fine and the manager would be available as well as the City of Wentzille would approve where everything went. We lost 4 feet of fence on one side of our fence and 2.5 feet on another. We have video evidence of TCF employees moving the white flag marks to where they wanted them AFTER the ****************** approved the original location of the white flags. There were also huge gaps in our fence from our neighbour's and our house that our youngest was able to get out. We have video evidence and plenty of pictures of all the errors. they also cut our sprinkler line. We have been going back and forth with ***** the owner about our fence and he claimed the utilities were in the way so his "guys had to move the fence in 2.5 feet." "His guys" also left all the trash in our yard and our neighbours' yard from the fencing and dumped the dirty all over my nicely landscaped and mulched flower beds. We called the ****************** to do the final inspection since ***** refused to correct his employees errors and the City of Wentzille failed the fence since it was not located on the property lines and in the place that was approved. For a month now, we have been trying to work with ***** to get our fence corrected but he keeps cancelling on us. We wanted to avoid having to get the courts involved but we believe we are being pushed that way. Almost all of our neighbours comment on how the fence is in the wrong spot and it looks like DIY gone wrong.Tri County Fence and Deck Response

Tri County Fence and Deck completely disagrees with the above homeowners comments and assessment of the fence project. We installed the fence correctly; and in our opinion the fence is located where it needs to be to avoid damaging any under ground utitlity lines. We have received numerous threats and rude comments from the homeowner that until this time we have ignored. It is always our intent to try and come to a mutual agreement when there is any kind of disagreement or discrepency over an installation or any project in general. However in this case it appears we are at a point of agreeing to disagree.Review from S. S.

So I love the fence, but the 1 star is because when the fence was installed one line of the fence, the 4x4 posts were put on the property line and the 2x4's and pickets are over the line into my neighbors property. The fence installation started on July 21 and finished on July 22. I noticed it looked off Aug 1 and I spoke to the owner Craig ****** on Aug. 2 and he acted like it was my fault and I would have to pay for it to be fixed. I had over 10 survey markers on that side of my property from a survey a year ago so it was very clear where the boundary was. I had another survey done today Aug 4 to be sure I wasn't seeing the wrong thing and surveyor verified, the 4x4's are on our property and the 2x4's and pickets are over our property line. The men Craig had install the fence didn't even not follow the measurements that was in the contract. Craig has not returned my phone calls or responded to my email. When I signed the contract I was told there was a 5 year warranty on labor and 15 year on materials. I haven't even received the paperwork for the lean waiver or warranty info. I have already paid Craig in full for the fence. Through an email I agreed to work with him on some costs to fix the fence, but now knowing it was truly an oversight of his workers I revoke my agreement on that. Craig also said he would replace the picket that looked like a different color and also fix the portion of my fence that is hitting my other neighbors fence. I just want this issue corrected soon at no charge to me. I want to work this out without having to go through litigation, but will if that's what it takes. What type of business does this?Tri County Fence and Deck Response

At this time it is our opinion that we installed the fence correctly and according to Mrs. *******'s instructions; however if we discover otherwise we will be happy to work with the homeowner to correct any error on our part. I would like to mention that we had a final inspection completed by the City of Warrenton and received final payment from the homeowner the day after completion. At such time the homeowner was very happy and satisfied with the installation and inquired about additional work that they would like to have us perform in the future. Hope this helps. ***** ****** ************Customer Response

I was very happy with the fence until I noticed it was over the property line. I have called Craig several times and he would not answer my calls. He still hasn't called me back. We had another survey that proved the fence was over the line. I left a message and gave him time to call me back and correct the issue, but he wouldn't. I had another contractor correct the problem and will be seeking recovery for the cost for the correction and new survey.
