On September 8th I hired Vuta Electrical to check the switch to my garbage disposal and to replace my kitchen light and hallway light. The kitchen and hallway light share a switch in my dining room with separate switches in the kitchen and hallway. The first electrician arrived at 8:30 am replaced the garbage disposal switch. He could not determine what was the issue with the kitchen light fixture when he clamped a wire my dining room light and microwave (in the dining room) would go off. He attempted to call his boss and was unable to reach him. He was going to sit in my driveway until he could reach him. I told him I assumed he was booked for the day and if he needed to come back he could so he left. The owner came at 5:30 pm after testing wires he was able to figure out which wires he needed to reinstall the light fixture and reconnected the wires on 2 switches. At this time he told me he would have to charge two service calls, one for light fixtures/switches one for the garbage disposal. He also asked for a tip which I felt pressured into giving. When I looked at my receipt later I discovered I had been charged for 4 service calls at 120.00 each. I was also charged 22.00 for the use of my card. For a total of $580.50 I sent him a text about the 4 service calls. He told me that the charge was correct. I asked him to show me on his website he charged by task and for the charge for the use of a credit card. But looking at the pricing on the website I was still overcharged. He didn't answer about the card usage charge. According to their website I should have been charged $365 + 25 for the light he replaced. He provided no receipt for the replacement light when he exchanged my light. 120x 2 for light fixture, 35 for switch replacement and 90 for travel time. He told me that he charged the standard price they had as a company. When I asked for the invoice to be adjusted to the correct price he stopped communicating with me.Business response

We troubleshooting the wires in the kitchen light and we installed for you 2 light fixture and trouble shooting your switches from kitchen and hallway that you have not working properly! We fix it and is working properly!We have standard pricing for each item we installed with a 1 Year warranty! Our prices are fair for the job and time we spend to fix your electric issues!
