    Better Business Bureau is advising consumers to use caution when considering doing business with Montgomery & Newcomb, LLC.  BBB has received a pattern of consumer complaints alleging failure to honor a contract or agreement, failure to cancel contracts, failure to contact consumers, failure to provide refunds, misleading sales presentation and poor customer service.

    On January 26, 2023, BBB sent a letter to Montgomery & Newcomb, LLC.  The company did not respond.

      I signed a contract with Montgomery & Newcomb to transfer a timeshare owner at **********************************. I paid $3,000 for the transfer. I have been paying maintenance fees and charges for the timeshare. I can&#**;t use the timeshare, because they put a hold on it. I can&#**;t contact Montgomery and Newcomb to discontinue to proceedings. I would keep my timeshare now since we would be able to use it again. I leave messages, but they never return phone calls. I have been calling regularly since June 2022. The number listed on their profile that I had is not working anymore. I also have a number ************ is for *********************************, Manager. I leave messages, but no one responds.

      ******************* Club 365 contacted us knowing we were trying to get out of the time share. We paid Club 365 about $7000 to help get out of the timeshare. The total fee with the timeshare is over $21,000. We hired Montgomery & Newcomb through Club 365. We have the deed to a timeshare we don&#**;t use, so we are trying to get rid of it. We sent the lawyer $700+ to get me out of the timeshare. We haven&#**;t heard from the lawyer. We called them several times, with no return calls. We reached them once, and they said the sent the letter to Inn Seasons Polor ***** in *******, **. They will take them to court if they do not get a response from them. We are still getting fees from Inn Season, so nothing is done. When we call ******************* they never return calls, even when we do reach them. The last time I was able to speak to someone from the law office was in September.

      I have a cases with them. I have been calling all numbers given to me and I cant get in contact with anyone. I would like to know what&#**;s going on.

      We paid them to get us out of a timeshare. We had correspondence back and forth with them but nothing has happened. It has been 2 years and they still have not followed through on getting rid of the timeshare from us. I tried calling them and I get no kind of response from them. They are a very bad timeshare. We would like to get some of our money back that we paid to them.

      In Jan. 2023 I was told that if I paid $9295.00 that this Law Firm would get us released from timeshare agreements. We had to be current with the timeshare maintenance fees. I filled out pages and pages of information that was notarized and sent to this firm everything they requested. It seems all they did was send out a letter to the resorts asking for dissolvement. They have not called me, updates me, or followed up on anything. Wont answer calls or emails. It is now end end of the year and I am receiving 2024 maintenance bills from the resorts which I don't wish to pay. This matter should have been closed by now. The few times I did speak with them they refused to put me thru to an attorney or even give me a number I could call. This seems like one big scam and they have my money. For anyone reading this DO NOT use them.

      This firm was retained by ************************** to handle a timeshare exit. They have done nothing, don't return phone calls and have never initiated contact with me and now I have been contacted by a law firm in ******* advising me that the timeshare is being repossessed. This is supposedly a law firm with a website that advertise's a team of lawyers yet apparently no administrative staff to answer the telephone. They are as bogus as the timeshare industry.

      I paid ************************ $4238.00 9/14/2020 to relieve us from Time Share Obligation. I was instructed further to pay $1200 for legal fee filing which was contracted by Montgomery Newcomb, LLC. I have attempted to contact Montgomery Newcomb many, ********** regarding not hearing from the, not them resolving my issue. My last correspondence from them was to pay maintenance fees for 2022 and 2023 and I told them I do not have the money. They said it is my decision whether or not to pay maintenance fees. I feel this is a total sham and I was bilked out of $5438.00 by Montgomery Newcomb LLC and Resort termination Group! Their license should be pulled by the Government!

      I have had no correspondence from this company and feel they have just received payment and never applied themselves to assist me at all.

      Entered into agreement on July 15, 2022. Montgomery Newcomb has not provided the service of canceling time share. They presented a case showing their ability to get owners out of time share ownership. They have done no work on this case since August 2022. Their phones are not answered and calls are not returned. Firm was paid $7,995.00. The law firm is no better the time share companies.

      On 7/15/22 I paid $5895.00 to them to get out of my timeshare. I sent the information they requested. On Oct 25,2022 they sent a letter saying I could get out, if I said  Wyndham $4,406.64 . I called to ask if that was the best I was going to get. They said if I didn't want to accept this offer they would continue to work to get me a better deal. After that I did not hear from them again and they would not return my calls. In the beginning they said it was possible for me  to recoup the cost of of the Timeshare as well as the maintenance fees paid. That amounts to $79,282.95. finish the job or a refund.

      I retained the Montgomery & Newcomb law office in Jan of ******************************************************* **. We paid the retainer fee and have had little to no feedback. The effort they did make was less than adequate. I have been trying to contact the firm since Sept 2022, they have not returned emails or phone calls. This firms performance and reliability is extremely unsatisfactory and below minimal standards.
