I purchased a 2014 Infinity in July 23**;. I was sold a lemon. The rear differential coupler has blown out. The vehicle is now undrivable. The cost to fix is more that $5,000. The business has been unresponsive.Initial Complaint

Purchased vehicle April 14, 2022, in the amount of $13,000.00. Within a couple of weeks, had motor mounts problems. This issue was covered by warranty. On July 28, 2022 Opened sunroof and upon trying to close later that day it would not close. Talked with someone about the issue and they said it was my problem. Had to put plastic bag over roof because it was to rain in a few day. Even with Plastic bag, rain came into the vehicle. Had to get some help and try another way to cover sunroof to keep water from coming in. I don't believe if you have a vehicle for a few months and it has issues, especially being told its a motor that open and closes the vehicle should not be my problem. I could see if i had a long time and maybe used a lot, but this was not the issue. I feel they should pay to have it repaired, for that is bad business.Business response

** *******, was given the same 30 thirty day warranty that our dealership gives to all of our customers. We also give them the option to purchase extended
warranties. She agreed to purchase a 24month powertrain warranty. Which would not cover the sunroof. If she had communicated her situation we would have recommended some place to have her problem resolved.

I purchased a car from this lot on August 21st. On the 28th, I had to call the car lot. Its a 2015 Chevy Impala. It has an automatic shut off. When I pull to a stop it frequently shuts completely off. This isn't the way this feature is supposed to work. It has caused me to have to restart it with the key. I reached out to the lot. The car had a 30 day warranty. They told me they couldn't get it in until September 9 for work on the 10th. Prior to taking it in, the check engine light went off. They said that if the check engine light wasn't on when it came in, they wouldn't address it. They did extend the warranty for another 30 days. I bought my own scanner to check the engine even though the light wasn't on. It did pull a code that indicated the transmission was having an issue. I showed him the scan. They said they wouldn't fix the car unless the check engine light was on.Business response

I have been in contact with the consumer from day one. We have resolved the problem, and I haven't heard from him since fixing the car.Customer response
