This company did some roof work and my warranty company asked them to send pictures of internal damage so they could send another company out to fix problem. It’s been almost two months and nothing has been resolved. I called them numerous times. All they have to do is send warranty company pictures of the inside. I called warranty company today and they said they don’t do that but it’s a 6ftx3ft section. It’s only 2ftx1ft section. I just want them to be held accountable for their lackluster service. First off: Please note while your letter was dated December 7th and postmarked December 8th, I just received the letter today via the United States Postal Service. This is an immediate response: Mr. **** is a valued customer. We did receive Mr. ****'s calls and responded to them each and every time. When we are busy, we can't answer every call but we do return our calls in a timely manner. Mr. **** is an ******* **** ****** Warranty customer. We were dispatched to Mr. ****s home @ **** ******* ***** in Florissant Missouri on late October on behalf of ******* **** ******. We only do exterior work, so we were dispatched in late October of 2021 to look at the roof leak, assess the issue, diagnose the problem and estimate to repair the leak. We did all of the above and called it into the AHS Warranty company for approval, which we received for him. We then went back out and completed the roof repaired to Mr. ****'s roof on November 9, 2021. Mr. **** has significant water stains and drywall damage to the interior of his home. We do not do any interior work, and we informed Mr. **** of that fact. We encouraged him to call back into his warranty company so they could handle his interior work as this would be a separate claim. We called in for him and let the warranty company know that the homeowner had interior damage that needed to be addressed. Mr. **** exhausted all of his efforts trying to get a response from ******* **** ****** as did we. While this was not our job nor should we be expected that we would do anything beyond handling the exterior roofing problems, we did call into the Home Warranty Company multiple times and on December 1st I e-mailed a photo from Mr. **** directly to ******* ******* at A******* **** ****** to help him finalize this issue. We went above and beyond as we do for all of our customers, the real problem is A******* **** ****** refuses to cover this type of problem. They indicated this type of coverage is not provided and that the homeowner needs to contact his homeowners insurance company to submit a claim. This actually has nothing to do with us or our services, we have completed the roof repair and tried to assist Mr. **** when he needed it. I would like to discuss this matter with Mr. **** because we pride ourselves on customer service. I am very disappointed that this customer would have these things to say about us when we did try to accommodate him the best way we could.
