On the 22nd of October I went to C.V.S pharmacy to pick up a refill on a Ventolin/ albuteral inhailer. I was charged $4.60 when I usually pay $ **** after spending 6 hours on ********* calling Welcare prescription drug plan, ******** , who put the blame on ********* The agency for health care administration who are connected to ****************** of children and family services..state malfunctional , incompetent turds.I called Welcare and demanded to speak to a supervisor as I'd grown tired of trying to communicate with idiots who could barely speak English and this is what they told me.Sunshine enrolled me in Welcare and I'll be paying $4.50 for all my prescriptions in the future....Hold the f( ) ( k up....they enrolled me in this plan...I have the right to pick my own plan they can't change my prescription drug plan. I researched and this is what the ******** attorneys on located on **************** in *************** told me....They have committed a H.I.P.A. violation by illegally switching my prescription plan... So if you have ****************** and they switched your prescription drug plan to Welcare...Hold up the ******* k ******** went under and they switched us to Sunshine and now Snshine is unlawfully changing our drug plan to Welcare who have raised the price of our prescriptions to $ 4.50....What the ****** k is going on...So Better Business investigate this and notify me of your results please and yes I filed a grievance with Sunshine on 2 23 **** , and I'll be filing a complaint with ******** next.If anyone can provide me with the address to Welcare so I can go to the office and communicate with them in the universal language of my foot up the a** so far it ends up in the spine please let me know....Review from Lila Terri M

My plan states that I will get all generic meds at a cost of $3 per prescription from day 1, but this never happens, whether going to the pharmacy or through mail order. To get the prescription at this price at the pharmacy they have to call Ambetters direct pharmacy line, which tells them my premium isnt paid, although it is, and they wont give me the $3 price. I called Ambetter about this and they said perhaps the mail order would be easier. The mail order prices are more affordable than the pharmacy, but they wont honor the $3 per script either. You also must speak to people in foreign countries when you call Ambetter about anything, which results in long calls, with no resolution for my problem, because they cant understand me or what Im asking for help for. This insurance is affordable, but we would be just as well served by paying for everything ourselves, which is what we have to do in most cases! I will not renew with this insurance!Review from NA N.

I'm using someone elses comment, They suck the very last breath from you. Please DO NOT, I repeat DO NOT use Centene Corp or ********. Not sure this is true but found it on the internet: Centene Corp. has agreed to pay more than $215 million to California over allegations it overcharged the state for pharmacy services — the biggest payout to date by the nation’s largest Medicaid insurer over its drug pricing practices.Review from Joanna R

This company is frustrating, to say the least. They have so many insurance policies and I just want to get away from them but the kids need insurance and Centene now owns so many in ******* it's near impossible. For years couldn't even receive an updated card as customer service was so inept to update an address than had the audacity to say adoptive parents were not actual parents when I stated I was going to file formal complaints. They finally fixed it only took them nearly six years... now their website is down again *************** needs to go in today and she needs a temporary card and we are stuck with no way of being able to get one today. **************** offered to mail her one in ten days. How hard is it to email a one-time use card to our verified email address? The ****** app never works either and the monthly OTC is dollar store items that they upcharge on. Both sunshine and sunshine CMS are frustrating to deal with on the simplest of things.Review from SANDRA W.

sunshine health is a joke. I've had a colostomy for 3 years now and everything was fine until staywell turned into sunshine health. I cannot receive my colostomy supplies which include my pouches at sll. I've been denied month after month. thst is considered dme equipment and I'm supposed to be covered for these supplies. I've filed complaints which are filed within sunshine hesth snd either get resolved (nothing was resolved) or they just magically never happened. so I sit with a ziploc bag duct taped to my stomach which is disgusting but noone cares to listen or do anything. their customer service continuity is a joke because I get different explanations with each agent telling me something different. I've never seen a more unprofessional rude business in all my life and do not see how they are contually allowed to do these things.Review from Sean P

FRAUD ALERT!! Signed up to ******** via **************. Found out we're pregnant, needed to visit the OB. Several are listed on ********'s website. However, when contacting each one, we found that NONE were actually covered by ********. One even said that they've been trying to have ******** remove them from their website for over two years, and they won't. So now we must pay out of pocket until we can switch insurance companies. If I had the manpower and money to sue them for the cost we must now pay, I would. This is fraudulent and costing people money. Please do something, as this isn't some pizza shop - it's peoples' HEALTH that is effectedReview from Nicole H

This health plan is pathetic. They have denied medication for my disabled MIL for medical necessity when after not having it 1 day she swelled up like a balloon, how is that not a necessity. They do not care about their members and do not resolve anything. They force medication changes with no notice and no knowledge of the patients medical needs...places like this I why the health care system is brokenReview from Johnny W

MY complaint is directed to **** care. Just signed up for this after being on the phone with them for approx one hour. Had many choices to choose from but went with ****Care, what a joke and its only been a month, and my coverage doesn't even start until January 2022. Started receiving letters in the mail that I had NO Rx coverage for 2021, ****, yes I did, I was covered through my wife's insurance at the hospital where she works. Tried calling my original agent, (direct ext and left messages) NO return call!!!!!!!! Tried customer service x6 and was told via recording CALL back in an hour. Wasted an entire day fooling with this worthless customer service!!!!!!!! Buyers remorse, YOU BET !!!!!!!!!!! Will be cancelling ASAP !!!!!!!!!!!!!!JWReview from Mona S

If I could give no stars, I would. These people have no idea what they are doing. I was on the phone for 2 hrs and 17 min trying to solve why my **** had not been paid. I never received an answer. I have "duel" membership and they just kept bouncing me around between the two. It was quite the frustrating duel. They ****, I'm changing companies.Review from Daniel S

A scam through and through. The Marketplace needs to get investigations going into some of these plans that are offered through their exchange because some of them are scams and fraud like EVERYTHING from Ambetter. They should not be allowed to exist. My insurance broker was told by them that they covered my prescriptions and when I went to get both of mine filled, ********* said that my generic IBS medication wasn't covered even though my horrible Priority Health plan covered it and the exchange plan I had prior to Priority also covered it as generic. So, I called the HORRIBLE customer service line and was told (after waiting on hold for 30 minutes) that they just don't cover this basic medication) so I had two options: either pay out of pocket (I'm sure their CEO is going to get a nice big multi-million dollar bonus at the end of the year) or I could have my DOCTOR CALL AND ARGUE WITH THEIR ******** PHARMACY LINE. I told the associate to basically go to h*ll. I am sorry, if you agree to work for insurance companies like this and help them continue to push the problem of inequality forward where they are getting paid to deny us while some CEO who does nothing gets all the big money than I don't feel bad for what I say. I hope everyone who works in claims and denials along with upper management, * **** *** *** *** **** ***** and I hope the insurance you get through your own s***** ******** insurance denies you everything. I hope you all rot.
