Other places charge 5 dollars for a pulley.. they charge ***** plus 43 dollars in labor, which is a ridiculous markup. Also, I was never told that I had to pay for the drivers gas, but I did. I dont know if they saw a female as an easy target, but I would not recommend this company at all. I also got a quote elsewhere and the bid was at least $1000 less a new door. Total rip off and when I called to talk to them, I was just shuffled around people until I talked to ***** on the phone and he said theres nothing he can do to help. Waste of time and most importantly, MONEY. I will definitely buy the door elsewhere. The non transparency in the tune up quote was enough to never come back.

Upon scheduling service all customers are given the price of a service charge (which includes fuel sur-charge). Upon arrival and diagnosis, ************** gave the customer the option to repair the pulley and how much it was going to cost. We don't do any work until the customer signs off. This is a very standard repair and our fees are inline with the industry.Review from Thomas P

I ordered a high end door in July 2023 Extremely difficult to get an accurate update on my order Finally I was told the order arrived Since then cannot get a date for installation Iam 80 years old. In my experience, left a lot to be desired. I called them for a tune up of my system.They installed a weather stripping that isn't sealing the bottom of my door properly. When I pointed out my old stripping wasn't like that they said "when you change 1 thing it affects other variables". And proceeded that they "would try to adjust, but since my opener was old, it could possibly not seal the bottom properly".Then, upon checking my opener, they said it's 20 years old and replacing a belt and gear could end up costing almost half of a new one. Said they didn't have time and maybe not the belt either, anyway.Gave me a $288 bill and left me with a quote of $810 for a new opener.Before leaving, they said they "get so much business because they're honest".Possibly one of the worst service experiences of my entire life.Overhead Door Company of St. Louis Response

We called customer and apologized for what he felt was the worst experience he's ever had. We went over the reasons why the technician suggested a new operator. His current unit had well exceeded it's useful life and the tech was simply being honest with him. Repairs on units this old just aren't worth it but the tech quoted the fix price as well. We did agree on a partial refund of the service and parts used.Review from Jason M

I am a beverage contractor. I asked my wife to call this company and have them come out to give us a bid. She made the mistake of confusing this company with Overhead Garage Door. We paid Overhead Garage Door for an estimate. This company provides them for free. Them we ordered 2 Garage doors, scheduled the install and paid in full. It was a nightmare. It took 12 calls before they responded after missing the install date. They missed 3 install dates total before I demanded a refund and called this company. This company really stepped up for my customer. They have is a great price and installed 1 week after ordering. We waited almost 2 months with the other company just to be ignored. My wife explained everything to **** who is the install manager and he was really great. I've used this company for several customers in the past and they have never disappointed me or my customer. Install was great. My customers are very happy with the product and even commented about how quiet the new doors are. We had a damaged door from A storm so our garage door wasn't able to be used. We used this company and they quoted us from July 2021 that it be in November when we got our door. Come November we had to contact them to see what day we will get it. They then quoted us end of February, come February we had to contact them again and then they told us it be In *****. Come ***** we finally get a install date and they come over to install it. The installer took the garage door out at our house and the company ordered the wrong garage door! We have a 3rd car garage door so it didn't match at all. They then said it would be in July, come the end of July we called them again to see when we would get it since they never contact us, and the garage door was damaged at their warehouse! They quoted us much longer to get another new one, so we begged them to at least get us a new 3rd car garage door to match the one they ordered before because we cannot wait another 6 months for a garage door! They said 2nd week in September and again we called to see what day they were coming. They now told us October because they are waiting on glass for the door windows. So now it's been one year and 3 months without a garage door. Ive never experienced this type of poor service in my life. My husband is a ********* and he doesn't even understand how we cannot get a garage door. I will never use this company again and if we don't have our door in October we will seek legal action.Review from michael c
