I am a FOREVER customer of ********************. They have remodeled most of my home and I have been nothing but happy with their work and service. They are timely with bids, they show up on time to do the work, and they do the job thats asked of them. Great relationship with the crew and owner. I highly recommend them to anyone.

They remodel my bathroom and did a really great job it was fast and they were clean the work was so good I had them do a little extra work in my kitchen.

Great job on our new back deck. The old porch had concrete spalling underneath and exposed re-bar. It needed to be replaced. Masonry work adjustment was made after the old porch was removed and improved during construction. We changed our minds on the design of the skirt of the deck and were able to make the revisions during construction as agreed upon in a verbal change. They cleaned up every evening and left the yard looking good after each workday. This was our ************** with Mizzell, and the work was precise and well done. We are very happy with the final construction.

Did not stain oak trim as contracted. Baseboard left un-caulked; Baseboard next to wood to be stained was caulked which is a ‘Cardinal sin’ per the new contractor I hired to finish the work Mizzell didn’t. Baseboard in closet frame cut short. Bathroom door handle lever installed upside down. Did not paint interior wall around new front door & window. Did not paint trim of new window. Drilled holes in closet doors too small for screws to pass thru; did not install handles. Left white paint marks on garage door from moving painted baseboards. Installed hinges upside down on new interior doors. Purchased specific trim to match planks. Was told the trim would not work & I was to buy different material. Dave was not going to reimburse me if the exchange was not possible. Mizzell did not follow their contract for change orders. Change order requires an approved &signed contract prior to material purchased &work starting. Mizzell purchased &installed material without a signed contract; totaled over $1,600. The contract was written AFTER the work was complete. Refused to show receipt for the material purchased identified in change order. After yelp review posted, they emailed the receipt showing oak trim cost $300; change order showed $600 for trim & materials. Asked for an alignment from the receipt to the change order. Never heard back. Refused to mud wall in basement per agreement. Crew lead removed keyless entry to front door; removed its batteries, which resets all codes. He reinstalled it & locked my door leaving it inoperable. I was locked out of my house. New keyless entry stopped working due to it being installed wrong per the manufacturer. Had to have it replaced. Crew did not show 2 days; apparently **** ******** instructed his crew they were done with my job when a lot of the work was incomplete. I received an email from the owner, **** ********, advising they planned to fix their errors. That never happened. In summary, flooring was installed beautifully. All else was poor quality work &plain grossly unprofessional. **** ******** refused to complete work contracted &did not take accountability for employees’ poor workmanship.

We hired Mizzell to do replace some door framing and make deck repairs. After I made a deposit, they crew showed up within days of the promised arrival time. When more damage was discovered, I was informed and the material costs were adjusted. Once on site, the crew worked on consecutive days to complete the repairs. After the ******* called to check on the finished work, I told him about two minor finishing details that were addressed and completed to my satisfaction within days. This crew showed up when they promised, worked in weather that wasn't always ideal and did a great job. I would recommend them for the type of work they performed for me to anyone and would hire them again if needed.

Great experience working with **** and his crew. In fact having him back again for another project.

Mizzell was great, expert workmanship, skilled workers, friendly, kind, smart, responsive.

Mizzell did a great job remodeling my bathroom. They were very communicative, on budget, and professional the whole time they were in my house. They navigated an old house with old house problems with ease. I felt comfortable with them working on things when I wasnt home and they were super courteous about noise when I was there working. Overall, was very pleased with the work they did. Will likely be calling them again in the future for other projects. Money well spent, highly recommend!

Awful experience. Remodeled bathroom. Kept having issues - shower door not installed properly, sink faucets seized up and ultimately did not work at all, toilet handle broke. The shower drain pipe in the basement came apart-water everywhere. I had to pay a licensed plumber to fix the problem. The drain was not up to code. They used the wrong width and a home made trap. All told I had repairs of a total of $1433.88. I wrote the owner a letter with pictures that showed the repairs and asked for reimbursement. He never responded. I won't even go into his extremely unprofessional behavior. Do not believe his slogan "where quality counts".

I came across Mizzell Remodeling on the BBB website. so thankful I did. Great company, great workmanship and wonderful professionalism . It's next to impossible to find a good home construction company anymore but David and his crew were the best. they removed the old wrought iron on my front porch and replaced it with white vinyl railing. it looks sooooo good! Even my neighbors are asking me who did he work. Thanks for being prompt, professional and for the great job you did on my front porch. You've made me so happy!!
