They installed a new transmission in my vehicle. It was still doing the same thing as before. I took it back to them and now they are recommending other repairs. I have paid them approximately $4000 to them for the transmission repair. They just drove the car and they said they plugged up a machine to the car and it told them the issue. They are not telling me what's wrong with it. They are just making suggestions.Business response

Ms. ***** brought her Nissan in to be checked out after another shop told here she needed a transmission. We checked the vehicle out and determined it did have an internal problem with the transmission and needed to be replace. We installed a remanufactured transmission on March 12,2022. Ms. ***** returned with the vehicle a few weeks later stating it seemed low on power and she thought she was using more fuel than normal. We checked the vehicle and did a diagnostic scan and found no codes and all data was normal. We recommended she has a tune up done based on her concern and the fact that Nissan recommends one at 100,000 mile and she was over that mileage and had never done a tune up. Her transmission has a 3 year 100,000 mile warranty. There is no issue with the transmission or any of the work we performed. If she believes we are not being honest I recommend her take it to a Nissan dealer to be checked out. If Nissan says the transmission has a issue we will be happy to replace the transmission at no cost to her and reimburse her Up to $200.00 for any diagnostic/check out fee Nissan may charge.
