I contracted with "No Bull Enterprise" to do a concrete job and build a patio cover. They have since walked off the job without finishing the job and leaving unacceptable damage to my property/surrounding grounds. Builder has been advised of the damage, dissatisfaction and my demand for repairs. I also NEVER agree to any changes to the contract, and I NEVER signed any authorized changes to the contract. I stated that I would withhold the balance of $6000 until job is finished and the repairs completed. He has threatened me with a lean and has refused to correct the damage or finish the work. I have attached photos of the concrete damage: the over spray he did on the concrete, the unsatisfactory concrete patch (its new concrete, should be even in finish and free of major defects). The grass has been killed and the surrounding area has not been re graded to industry standards/environmental or building code requirements. I am requesting that the contractor finish the repairs and the grading as is customary. The concrete should also be repaired, and/or replaced. In the builders' contract paragraph 12 it states, "Contractor shall REPLACE, CORRECT or REPAIR any work not in accordance with APPLICABLE LAWS and INDUSTRY STANDARDS". In the contract Paragraph 13, it states, "The contractor shall be fully responsible for any damage to the property or areas contiguous thereto resulting from the performance of the work". Paragraph 17 states, "All changes will be AUTHORIZED in a written "CHANGE ORDER" signed by the owner and contractor". I have attached photos of the concrete damage/discoloration, the surrounding area of damaged grass and the areas that have not been re graded to industry standards and applicable laws. Also, a photo of the patio cover where he is using construction adhesive and 1 bolt to secure a notched area of the weight bearing structure. To date I have not seen a building permit or insp. As a result, I have been forced to file a BBB Complaint.
