Under our HSA home warranty, Redeemed replaced the mini-splits in our carriage house. They installed three new splits and, in the process, left a gaping hole in the exterior wall. The lines were also shoddily done and looked less than professional. The splits also weren’t providing heat. We called them back to fix this. They told us they couldn’t fix the lines or the gaping hole, citing that it was “aesthetic.” Mind you, they caused the aesthetic damage. After an excessive amount of arguing, they did come out and put spray foam in the hole that they had left. They refused to clean up the lines. They did, however, fix the splits. After a few months, as the temperatures rose, we realized that one split was leaking. We reported the leak and Redeemed returned and claimed to have fixed it. A few months later, the same leak appeared. It was visibly evident that the split had been improperly installed and was leaning away from the drain. In other words, it was never leveled upon installation. Again, after way too much argument, they finally returned to fix it. Problem is they used drywall screws in plaster. This caused yet another leak and, when we called to report it, we were met with severe hostility. However, they returned yet again, inspected it, told us it was our fault for failing to maintain it, and left. When we went back inside, the split was frozen, dangling from the drain line, and dripping onto the floor. Allow me to interject that during the beginning of this long, drawn-out process, a) our home warranty expired and b) we suffered considerable water damage to the floor in that room and the ceiling of the room below it . Redeemed used the expired home warranty to try to charge us for the repairs that their lackadaisical “workmanship” caused. To date, we have terminated our relationship with Redeemed. We are left with a leaking split dangling at a 90 degree angle, a damaged floor and ceiling that were freshly remodeled, and will be out more money looking for a different company to fix Redeemed’s mistakes.Business response

hello im sorry you are still have problem with the unit. i wanted to start off with that im sorry any of this is happening. i didnt know you were still having problems and im sorry about that. i was out of town and didnt know any thing was going one tell i got the bbb review. i did try calling you the day i got back in town but got no answer. my field service Manager (****) that was dealing with it told me every thing was ok and was done. he is no longer with the company . i will be refunding you the amount you paid us just for all the inconveniences. as far as the last service all the tech found the unit you can see in the pics that this head is dirty and making the unit work harder the it needs to be cleaned. that why i was calling to let you know we were going to clean it this time since you had had problem. the dirty is making the head freeze up and work header. was far as the unit fulling down it was handing there when tech left so not sure what went on there. but let me know how to get you the check for the $466.07Customer response

We were charged by this business for services that were not provided. They were made up charges on an invoice to obtain more money than our home warranty company paid them. I had another AC company come in and check their work and said the “services” they charges for were not even things that were required with our new unit. I would like a refund or I will be filing a law suit. Thank you!Business response

We don’t make up stuff. We have to break down all the cost to your home warranty. other hvac companys don’t break down the cost just give one big price to do the work. You home warranty company don’t cover everything so the ask to have a breakdown. You knew of the Charges And what they where for before the work was started approve them on a recorded line but let us do the work with out say anything. You also give us the wrong zip code for the billing of the card and payment didn’t go though. See attached attachment. Payment is still owned there for no refund can even be given. .Initial Complaint

I originally contacted ******** **** ****** to have my heat pump unit repaired. Please see attached documentation. I have asked for out of pocket expenses caused by the contractors they sent to service my unit. My complaint against Redeemed Heating and Cooling for continuing to send the same contractor and lack of reimbursement for full amount requested. Should you need further documentation please advise.Business response

I'm sorry but we are not paying you for something that you didn’t pay for in the first place. Only thing you have paid us was to get us out there after hours. I even told the person I talk to that even if we go out there for emergency call that the fee is due no matter what and you approved it on a recorded line. I have sent you the 175 in a check and that will be the only thing I am giving since thats they only thing you have given us. I have also talked to the owner of premier service (JOE) and he said they did all the repairs needed to be done. There was nothing wrong with the repairs we did other then the motor we put on had went bad and it had to be changed out again. We had him warranty out the motor on our account at the supply house. So if the wrong motor was put in premier was the last person to put the motor on. My office will be sending you a check for $175 for the emergency fee. I am sorry the motor we put on failed due to a manufacture default. That is out of my control. the motor we had put in there was mfg# *****.Initial Complaint

they came out in late April and ran a wire to the compressor unit to get it running but it was to cold to tell if unit was cooling I called them back first part of May they came back and took the bottom of furnace apart and said we needed a new coil and left not putting the furnace back together then it got cold and we had not heat called them back and they put the furnace together still waiting on coils for A C about two weeks they came out with coil and also said it would be an extra $700 we paid they spent most of the day putting coil in when the tech was ready to leave we told him it was making loud noise he said we would need to call his supervisor we have done that our unit has ran all day and I turned it off at 9 pm I have called my insurance co. I've called Redeemed and asked to speak to the owner or supervisor and have no got anywhere my A C unit is not working still after a month of coming and going ****Business response

hello we put the tstat wire because there was no wire hook up. we did that even before we had autho from your home warranty. they are not paying for that repair. so we are out that money. then we went back out there because the ac was not cooling and it was had form a leak and had no r-22 in it so sent in to have autho for a coil replacement beacuse we wanted to make sure we will get paid this time. after tell you want i foud you kick a Bucket because you were mad you just moved in and your AC all had pre-existing issues and that when i told you the unit cant be used tell we got the coil approved from your home warranty. then we got asutho to put coil in and did the job and then there was a nosie. the nosie had nothing to do what we did we were out there. then you call and side something about a noise we told you we would summit it in to you home warranty and they told us it is not corved and you havent told us that the unit didnt work it just made a noise. nothing we can do when you want to have someone pay for every thingi and they dont want to pay we cant keep doing work for free.
