      I received a notice that I have a collection from OMEGA RMS on my credit report. It says it was opened on 3/3/2023 for $3,000 with account number starting in ***** that I am not aware of nor am I responsible for. I never went into business with this company or signed any agreements with them so they should not be reporting anything on my credit. This is a violation of my rights as a consumer according to the FCRA and FDCPA.

      I believe this account is reporting inaccurately. I do not recall having an account with this company. I don't think there is legal contract between this company & myself. I would like you to provide me verifiable proof this account belongs to me. I request a signed contract which will demonstrate a legal agreement. Please delete.

      In accordance with the Fair Credit Reporting act Omega RMS LLC has violated my rights15 U.S.C 1681b(a)(2) [15 U.S.C 1681 section 602 A]. States I have the right to privacy. 15 U.S.C 1681 Section 604 A Section 2: It also states a consumer reporting agency cannot furnish data of an account without my written instructions. The company is falsely accusing me of owing them $3,712.10 for services I never used and refuse to remove it from my credit report, in direct violation to 15 U.S.C 1692 C (a) Without the prior consent of the consumer given directly to the debt collector or the express permission of a court of competent jurisdiction, a debt collector may not communicate with a consumer in connection with the collection of any debt. They have continued to furnish data and harasses me in reference to this matter.

      I am rejecting this response because:
      I am deeply concerned by the blatant disregard for the violation of my HIPAA rights, Omega's complete lack of responsible communication as I have written to them several times with no response, and their failure to inform themselves that the contract they attached was cancelled by *********. It has come to my attention that my personal information was sold to a collection agency for services that were never rendered. I had cancelled the original contract and expected that my personal information would be kept confidential, as required by HIPAA laws.

      I am deeply troubled by the fact that my personal information was disclosed without my consent and used in a manner that was not authorized. I believe that this act is a direct violation of my privacy rights under HIPAA laws. I demand that you take immediate action to rectify this situation. Specifically, I request that you remove any and all remarks related to the services never rendered from my credit report. Additionally, I request that you provide me with a written confirmation that my personal information has been removed from this collection agency's files as its unlawful for you to have them in the first place. If you fail to take action within by the end of next week, I will be forced to take legal action to protect my rights. Please be advised that I am entitled to recover damages for any harm caused by your violation of HIPAA laws. I hope that we can resolve this matter in a prompt and amicable manner. However, please be aware that I am fully prepared to take whatever legal action is necessary to protect my rights under HIPAA laws.

      Omega RMS is a third party collection agency that works on behalf of *********.  Omega RMS only has access to the financial agreement between the consumer and the original creditor, there is absolutely no information provided regarding services received.  It has been confirmed with ********* that this debt is owed for services received 07/11/2021.  If there are questions regarding what services the charges are for the original creditor, *********, can be contacted.  Their contact information is listed in the top left hand corner of the agreement provided in the initial complaint.       This complaint is due to the negative marks made by your company on my credit file. I would be willing to accept this debt if it were mine and upon Validation and Proof of Claim but it’s not mine and there’s no way that you can validate it. So let it be known that I am requesting full validation of this debt. I demand that you take action on this matter because it is causing me a lot of stress lately. Please remove this negative account from my credit report. The value of my creditworthiness is at stake.
