      Bought a 2011 Dodge Challenger from this place and asked what was wrong with the car. Was told nothing. Bought the car and was told car is fine and you can drive to California and back with no problem. Less than 3 days after buying the car, check engine light came on and car code said bad catalytic converter. Car had a fake inspection and no type of emissions test. As it would not pass if it had a real inspection done. This is against EPA laws. This is against the law. Called for a resolution and was told i bought as is. As is to me is where you disclose the issues and i make the decision to purchase. I did not get that option. I am currently disputing the charges with my bank as i was told they will not give me my money back.

      ******* ******* purchased a 2011 Dodge Challenger from 3 - Way Auto Sales on 2/18/2023. The car had been ran through our shop prior to being put on the lot for sale and at that time any known mechanical issues were resolved. At the time of sale a legal Missouri State Inspection was done on the vehicle, it did pass the inspection and we were not aware of any mechanical issues . As we have explained to *** ******* it is a used vehicle and at any given time parts on the vehicle can fail. Unfortunately the vehicle was sold as is so at this time *** ******* is responsible for all maintenance and repairs as we told her when she purchased the vehicle. We have offered to take a look at the vehicle to see exactly what it needs and get her a quote to fix it. We have attached the Missouri State Inspection as long with the As-Is forms.

      I am rejecting this response because: A catalytic converter does not go bad in 3 days. Also i need 2 control arms and told you all that something was not right with the tires. You claimed you looked at it and fixed it. It was not fixed. You knew it needed some control arms. Could have just said it and not been deceptive.  Regards,

      I understand your concerns but a Jackson County, Missouri Inspection is not required to do an Emissions test. It is to only be sure the catalytic convertor is present and it was present at time of inspection. The car passed a Missouri MVI Inspection at the time of sale and the car was sold as is. Again, we would be glad to look at the car free of charge if you would like us to take a look at it.

      I purchased a car from them on 1/22/22 I drove home that day it stalled on me like it slowed down, I went there on following sat told *** the manager. He said I had to call, to make an appointment I call made an appointment for sat the 2_12-22. The mechanic said he couldn't find anything wrong with it. So I was driving home it stopped mid driving. They call and told me it was my transmission went out on it I would be responsible for it. The offered to cut labor

      Thank you for the opportunity to respond to Ms. ******** complaint. We do understand her frustration but we did everything we could do to please Ms. ******. All vehicles, as well as the one she purchased are sold as is with no warranty. She signed an as is form as well as a buyer's guide that acknowledged she knew the vehicle was sold as is with no warranty. When the problem arouse we did tell her out of good faith that if she purchased the new transmission & fluids 3-Way Auto would install the transmission for her at no cost. Even though the vehicle was sold as is, we do understand her frustration and we will still stand by our agreement to install the transmission if Ms. ****** purchases it and fluids for the vehicle. I have attached the forms she signed stating the vehicle was sold as is. We strive high for 100% customer satisfaction and we look forward to being able to resolve this with Ms. ******.
