They installed a unit that I already owned and the unit did not work. Then I had then install a different unit, and it won't cool. That is not the issue, the issue is that with the first unit, it turned out to be a capacitor that was bad and could have been replaced. In addition to that, when they needed certain parts that were back at their shop, I drove to the shop to get the parts, not them. He charged me 1200 for the install of the first unit, and 750 for the second unit. The first unit had an apprentice helping and he charged me for him. They have been out 7 times to do "repairs" and charged me for every one of those times, and still nothing is working.Business response

On 5/4/2020 we installed a used air conditioner for the customer which he provided for us to install. On 7/10/2020 we discovered the first used unit had failed (compressor had a locked rotor). We installed a second used unit that he provided. After installation we discovered the second unit we discovered it had a bad expansion valve. We ordered and replaced the expansion valve. The customer was sent bills for all of this work and only paid for the installation of the first unit. The customer was sent 3 statements (9/1/20, 10/1,20, 11/2,20) to an address they provided and was called on 12/10/20 before he was sent to collections. Our efforts resulted in no response from the customer, and he was sent to collections on 12/10/2020.
We received a phone call from the customer 1/28/2022, 17 months after our last service, regarding his air conditioner not working and dissatisfaction about being sent to collections. After the customer threatened physical harm to our staff, among other verbal threats, we made the decision to void any outstanding balance for this customer and no longer provide service to them.
