I have had Creative Design and Build work on various projects with my home beginning in 2015. Initially, it was painting my entire interior, led to installing a new kitchen sink and faucet, installing can lights in my family room with a dimmer switch and eventually a new front porch. Everytime I was ready to do a little something as finances would allow, they were there. Good pricing, very professional..even though my projects were small, they made me feel valued.The reason I leave this review, is that I was affected by the severe flooding in St.******* back in late July. I had over two feet of water in my basement. No hot water, no air conditioning, and no washer and dryer. That was just the essentials, I lost far more that cannot be replaced.I knew that Creative did more than the little projects they had done for me in the past I absolutely know now how much more.I called and **** and his team came right out. Not only did they assess the damage for me, they assisted in handling my insurance company, put me in touch with FEMA and made sure my property was secured while I was displaced. I had no idea that a business could put the emotional strain I was under into consideration and also be able to get my home functional again.There is so much more I could say, but the important factor is that my basement is far better than it was before the flood.If you are looking for a company to do their best for your home with the greatest of professionalism, understanding and pricing..Creative Design and Build, will honestly help you Create and Build the home of your dreams.I look forward to my next projects, *******************. They went above and beyond in my time of need, and I cant wait to have a project done that I have anticipated rather than needed.Thank you so much Creative Design and Build for being more than I ever expected, very truly appreciated!!

Save yourself time and heart ache. Do not use this company. Just like other reviews that I now read on them....they are not good with communication.. they always have excuses and blame others. I found out 3 months into project they didn't even have a building permit. .They present well but don't have follow through and their bids don't include everything..

Hi ****,You also filed a false report with the state attorney with the same false information you listed above that was investigated and was throne out. There recommendation was for you to follow the contract. The permit was filed with ************************. You have numerous unpaid upgrades quested by you and completed. Creative Design & Build suspended work on your project for nonpayment. We sent you several request for payment prior to this. You also said you were handling certain aspects for the project such as painting. It was your attempt to have work not included in the contract completed and that was one of many issues with your project. It has been months since your last attempt to smear our name. We are asking once again to please pay your outstanding bill. We also have numerous emails (communication) asking for you to resolve this prior to suspending work. This is just one more attempt to defraud the company.

This a company I would not recommend or use again. There was so much that went wrong. We were told the project would *********** to *********************** June and went until Feb. Some of the issues are that the owner talks out of both sides of his mouth. He will tell you one thing and even put it in writing in an email or text and then either not follow through or ignore it completely. I asked for a specific type of wall plate and even provided pictures and the project manager assured me he understood. That request was ignored. We had asked for extra floor protection at one time during the project and were told, in an email, the crew the following morning would put it down. It never happened. We were accused of delaying the project because we went on vacation but the project was supposed to be completed before we left and was not. We had an unresolved issue at the end of the project. Both the owner and the project manager said they would not collect any payment until it was resolved. It was even told to us in a text (writing). Next thing we know the owner is telling us that the office was scheduled to put a lien on the property and he didn't understand why the balance hadn't been paid. We had a check waiting for him but until the project was complete we were not going to pay him. The project mgr was trying finish the job but had canceled about 3 out of 5 times, so no payment was made and the issue was not taken care of. At this time he added about $900.00 in late fees as well. I sent him a copy of his text and he backed down a bit but was still trying to collect some additional charges. To avoid a lien on the property we paid what we believed to be the final balance and asked for a lien waver. I went to pick up the lien waver and it had the wrong property address and was not signed. We have not heard form the company since. They just dropped us and didn't even try to offer to come out and fix the issue. Not even under their 5 year warranty.

Hi ****,I'm really sorry you feel this way as discussed back on 2/28/2022 when you paid us in full after using the basement for over six month without paying. You left town in the middle of the project and would not let our teams work while you were gone. We were also told people in your home had Covid and appointments were canceled. We are completely sympathetic when it comes to Covid because yes we were delayed a week on your project because of Covid. Its unfortunate that you and ***** were not sympathetic when our teams had Covid. It's unfortunate you kept making it very hard to work with you throughout the project. The work was completed and you were refusing to pay. You only paid in full, immediately when we billed for late fees. You also said the workmanship and quality exceeded yours and ******* expectations.

****,Once again your facts are incorrect. At the beginning of the project your crew had COVID and you had to cancel a few days of work. ***** and I were very understanding. When you bid the job we told you when we were going on vacation and that the job needed to be done by then. You said that time frame would work and the job would be finished. It was not. The stack in the weight room kept cracking and both you and RJ said you would NOT collect any money until ***** and I were satisfied. RJ was unable to fix the stack right. It still has cracks and never got a last coat of paint. You knew this and even after payment you have not contacted us to try to resolve the issue with the stack. You just washed your hands of it all.
