I am ********* ******** with order# ********* filing this complaint against A-Emzrak company because they have delayed our shipment for about a month. The delivery was set for Sep 3 but it has been extended until Sep 28. We are having time to adjust to this delay and it is affecting our well-being.Business response

We regret that our customer has experienced the delay in delivery of his shipment to OR. We, like many others are experiencing shortages in capacity both in labor and trucks. Mr. has been advised per the tariff governing his relocation under the interstate tariff, he is entitle to a delay claim of $100.00 per day for each day past his agree date. While his shipment has arrived in OR, we are at the mercy of the County he is moving into in securing parking permits, thus creating the longer delay until the 28th.
Both A-Mrazek and our Corporate office has been in communication with our customer on a daily basis.

I am rejecting this response because:25 days is not really acceptable. We don't have any stuff in the home to use, causing additional expanses. We were given a concrete promise that the delivery would be made on Sep 3. I may accept a week of delay but cannot accept 4 weeks delay. As I explained in the letter sent to the Manager Ms. Angie on Sep 14, stress is a detrimental cause to my well-being. However, they ignored this part of message as if they won't care about collateral damages being caused by their process. This response is not enough good and we want our home stuff delivered asap. I wish we were told from the beginning that there may be delay so we might have used another moving company. They promised us to deliver the shipment on the set date but God knows when would that happen. So dissatisfied with the way they have treated us. The supervisor didn't even respond to our calls and delegated her responsibility to her employees.

The customer's rights for delays are clearly defined on the BOL he signed. While we are not happy with the delay, we have also communicated with the customer delivery is set for the 28th, delayed due to the County taking 10 days to issue a parking permit. The customer is welcome to reach out the UniGroup Customer Care and demand a larger delay claim, as being an interstate shipment under United Van Line authority, they would be in position to assist in regards to a refund greater that what the tariff allows.Customer response

I am rejecting this response because:because we were not told that getting parking permit would take 10 days. If parking permit would take such long time why your team didn't tell us from the beginning. You guys have a local agent in Portland so you should have already known that parking permit takes time. I remember that Maggie kept checking with the local agent in Portland thousands times to ensure the delivery time. I checked the web and figured out the permit would take about 1 business day to be issued. We want proof that all our stuff is in the Portland. I am sure you guys lost or forgot some containers.
On Sep 3, Bryan the coordinator called us and said that your shipment is in Portland and will be delivered on the next day Sep 4, then nothing happened. We called again on Monday Sep 6 to find out why they didn't tell the truth to us. They said they are working to make delivery that week which yet nothing occurred. We called again and this time we were told that the container that has sofa is missing and we were waiting on the response from our agent in Portland. On the last Friday Sep 10, Bryan left me a voice mail that shipment is going well and left terminal for sending.Until recently, you used the shortage of crew as the reason that why the shipment has been delayed.
Please be consistent in your promises and words.
Regarding your suggestion, calling the Unigroup, we have tried but they would hang up on us. They completely ignored our calls and no body bothers to respond. This is not really professional addressing costumer's concerns. We are suffering from this excessive stress and completely distracts our ficus and mess up every plan that we had made.
Please see the picture of place that we currently live in and how would you feel about it? We sleep on this hard floor with no sofa, chair, etc.
