Our power keeps coming on and back off. The mayor is aware of the issue but apparently only takes care of his personal friends and Kirkwood Electric told me they will not fix the street lights. They are putting in new transformers right behind our condo and are unloading all of their equipment. We have had power surges on and off for at least 6 months. No one I have contacted is willing to help me and I have an entire list of contacts. They continue to bill me for services I am not receiving. They have had half of Kirkwood's streets closed traffic jams and power outages, continuously surging. At least 6 months this has been going on. They started the building project 1 year ago. It could be a transformer issue we do not know if its the new work or the transformer. I can confirm that Kirkwood has never changed our meters and they are at least 40 years old. I could not read the meters if I wanted to, so they have complete control on seeing how much my usage is. The meters are so old an worn out they have turned white in color. I don't have the option of reading the meter myself , they bill me automatically every month and I trust and pay them every month and they continue to cut off my electricity without warning, explanation or resolution. This is ridiculous. The only time they come to look at our meters is to raise the price we pay every month.

Kirkwood Electric upgraded the over voltage relay settings last week for the circuit serving the customer's location to prevent blinks and intermittent electrical service. Kirkwood Electric plans to install temporary lighting at the southeast corner of ****** and Kirkwood Rd. to resolve the lighting issue. Kirkwood Electric installed new meters in 2016 as part of its automated metering system upgrade project. Kirkwood Electric provides metering data to the customer upon request and is always available to perform site visits to review metering displays and metering information.Business response
